    So much for their 25th October tweets where they stated "The offer should be running for a few weeks" and "The online application will become available again. It's only down while we catch up with the applications.";)

    Indeed. Was thinking the same. Maybe someone up high the food chain decided to pull the plug early.
  • Finding it very difficult to set up my Switch.

    No option to do it when I opened the account yesterday.

    Numerous calls to Customer Services who keep telling me to do it online even though there is no option when I either sign into my account or when I retrieve my application. They do put me through to a different department but nobody is answering.

    Very frustrating process so far.

    Filled in my application yesterday online, they have sent out a code to access it online and i was going to switch when it was all setup. So waiting for a code and the offer has been pulled, so looks like i will cancel in the cooling off period - grrrrrrr.

    Good news they will honour it, but i have to wait for my code before i can give them my switch account.

    Just another thing, i have just set up 2 DD on my old account to go out on 10/11th nov, when i switch i can set a date of say 12th nov and will the DD just carry on with the new account, hope thats right.

    Yes the DDs will be switched, as will any SOs on your old account.

    IIRC, this offer is one for which the 2 DDs don't actually to be included in the switch. They can be set up later (within 62 days?)

    AS ever, CHECK the T&Cs yourself;)

    I will just leave them setup on the old account as they are, i could delete them now and set them up again on new account but either way is ok.

  • Well after seeing the switch bonus i thought like many,id switch banks again...must be 6 switches so far.

    Website up and down like a £10 street walkers knickers..bit the bullet and phoned to query my application and a lovely helpful lady said "No problem lets bin that one and start again.."" 10 mins later switch all done and £250 secured.

    Bonus is the app in my humble opinion is actually not bad at all...so will actually keep this as wages/direct debit account and simply transfer the excess/spending money to Halifax account.

    Over all a nice looking easy to use account and card landed with in 2-3 days...pretty good service all round.

    I went on online chat to CB but didn't get a straight answer and couldn't get through on the phone.

    I started my application last week when the £250 offer was running. Had to wait for code in the post to complete application which arrived and was entered today, including entering details of account to switch. It was at this point I guess the application was 'completed'. I received confirmation emails but no mention of the switching bonus.

    Anyone in same boat and knows whether or not I'll get it?!

  • had applied to switch on the 24th,account opened immediately,bank card delivered within 2 days.....no emails regards switch!..after reading some posts on here I decided to call,just as well!....no switch had been initated.spoke with a nice fellow who set switch up and I will receive the £250....happy days!
