A small decrease on last month was kept to a minimum by UK microcaps and a bump in my Chrysalis private equity fund. I am currently on a gain of 150% on that one in the last 9 months which has been my most successful short term investment to date when I picked it up on the drop. It will likely all go South in the next crash just like last year.
Emerging markets and my sustainable fund were slightly up but not enough to offset the drop in Fundsmith and Smithson.0 -

A 1.3% increase over the month for the growth fund despite the falls over the past few days thanks mainly to EM but a very small fall in WP.

Hope you are recovering TBC15, this year is likely to be as memorable as last year, hope it's for different reasons.
Granny has locked herself in the granny flat, but she has us on a WhatsApp group so she is just as problematic. Has had her first vaccine though.
Crystal balling for 2021 I see gold continuing the last six month journey of lower highs and lower lows, not on the basis of momentum, but on the suspicion of how the damage to the economic fabric is to be dealt with.TPTB are always promising "to do what it takes" and I believe them. Massive infrastructure spending and the oft mentioned Universal Income are top of my suspected plan list. Beyond manufacturing another boom what choice have they got. Booms usually trend gold down and investments up. Now we will find out if passive, active, or my impassive portfolio is best for2021.Best of fortune to all ..._1 -

Overall drop of just under 1% over the month mostly down to currency changes. Ok month for Fundsmith up about 1%, UK funds did pretty well up around 4% but everything else was down between 3-5%0
