    At 30-11-2020 -  £145,764    Up 6.97% month to month.

That was an interesting month. Lots of volatility that fortunately was positive. Will update changes to portfolio in due course.

Most of the hard work was done by UK Micro caps and emerging markets up about 12% and 8% respectively. Most of my other growth funds understandably lagged the market this month. Still, pretty happy with a 6% return.

    BLB53 £122,273            22.3%

    TBC15 £154,006            54.0%

    Digger UK £137,231      37.2%

An interesting month it was going very well until the 9th, Blue whale currently exploring the depths. SSON off to a good start LTI jumped 10% as soon as I sold it, never mind.

Some of the shine has come off gold.

Granny has gone retro, does nothing but glue paper chain christmas decorations together from morning till evening. Will need to check our smoke alarms.

Gold price is on a consistent  downtrend now, has seen lower highs since August record when you step back and look at charts
Can only believe the trend is down for near future. I doubt last xmas prices will be threatened though..._

    At 31-12-2020 -  £156,049
    Up 6.59% month to month.

Performance for the 2020 calender year up 36.88%.

What an end to the most incredible trading year. From the low month end point of the 31st March when the portfolio sat at £95,365. The subsequent rise has been 63.6%.  Never expected the worst economic crisis in living history to provide quite such exceptional returns. Time to dial back the risk exposure, sit back and reappraise the opportunities out there.  As fairly devoid of ideas and opportunities at the moment.  Somewhat unusual. As normally have something on the back burner.

Been a lot of changes to the portfolio this year. Will provide a monthly portfolio update as usual.

A Happy and Prosperous New Year to my fellow (contributors) investors. Let's hope for further positive returns in 2021.

A nice 5.3% gain to finish a very strange year. Lots of good recovery stories this month which really helped my emerging markets and UK small companies allocations. Partly due to its resilience earlier in the year my main holding Fundsmith was once again lagging. Chrysalis had another very strong month with a 24% gain, partly down to The Hut Group and partly a rerating of Graphcore - we may yet have another FTSE 100 tech company which hopefully we keep hold of this time.

    Happy New Year to all...
