I don't think Jesus is going to help you defraud the taxpayer0

Alice is certainly one of the least judgemental people on this website and has helped so many, tirelessly finding links and information for them.
I believe that no one should be judging and accusing posters of 'fraud' when they do not know the facts of the case (in this particular instance).
Yes, the poster talked about going with hair unkempt etc but is this in response to reading that many claimants are assessed as being well dressed and tidy and then use this to discredit their claim? We do not know so should not immediately think it is a ploy to deceive.
The OP will have to have evidence to show which descriptors they meet and giving links and information about them does not mean that anyone is encouraging them to defraud the system.
The first post may have been a joke.... the second one is downright rude and totally incorrect.
In fact, I think you ought to delete it as it could be found to be libellous.
No, until we get more facts that suddenly appear in future posts after op is made aware of the links, and read them,we should not judge.
We all read replies differently and where as I totally agree about Alice being the least judgemental poster I read on here she does put a lot of ideas in to posters heads ,my opinion on an opinion board.

You are all biased against mentally ill...admit it
you should work for the govt they need people l;ike you...theyd pay you well as you would save them even more millions
pip is for mentally ill??
You show me one question relevant on their form to mentally ill
whose going to pay for my £60 pw concs rate psychotherapy? Pip. As govt putting money into nhs for physiacally ill people
want to know what my cpn's job is? To get rid of anyone who is not self harm or suicidal. Just chuck them back into the community. I insisted on seeing a psychiatrist. She after that she will discharge me.
Psychiatrist said otherwise0 -

You were clearly thinking of different ways in which you could gain those points, including the wording you should use and saying you were going to attend the assessment with your hair unkempt. I wish you good luck in your PIP process because i think you're going to need it.....0 -
dee100, large sections of the pip descriptors are only relevant to mental health and or cognitive impairment. As I think I said in this thread a few days ago at my assessment the nurse actually raised and assessed mental health issues where I'd dismissed them ie she looked for more points to award on the basis of depression if they were applicable to me.
It's not an ideal test, i doubt there is one, but it doesn't ignore mental illness.0 -
I receive enhanced daily living for my mental health issues as explained before GAD, severe depression and PTSD. So living proof, I said before if you are suffering then people will see it, you need to see your GP for further psychiatric help as this is available to those in need without paying privately, if your medication is not working then you need also to see GP again. I have found that most people who help on this thread to be sympathetic and caring to mental health sufferers and we all suffer a disability whether that is visible or not.0

Totally agree. PIP does cover mental health.
But (it has to be said) compared with DLA, PIP has a prescriptive set of criteria
So, it certainly helps when completing the PIP2 form for individuals to be aware of how the PIP descriptors should be interpreted, and insight into how their condition affects those descriptors.
Either by getting F2F advice or through internet PIP resources such as Adviceguide, Benefits & Work, Rethink etc
Sounds like you had a good assessment, w06.
I wish all assessors were as thorough!Alice Holt Forest situated some 4 miles south of Farnham forms the most northerly gateway to the South Downs National Park.0 -
she was very good, laughed at me at one point because I'd said 'but that's not a disability' to about three things she'd raised that are a bit wonky but just me really. I too wish everyone had as fair and professional an experience0

I may get extra points from the stress of so many physical ailments with GAD, SAD and Dysthymia. If my psychiatrist decides my budget issues have a mental health basis she will put that in a letter to the judge at tribunal....I think I am better now as learned CBT for OCD on youtube.0
