Ok failing so far. Monday was a write off as I was exhausted after working the weekend. However I processed 7 loads of washing so not a complete blank.

I was back at work yesterday so just did HHI. I'm going to tackle DS2's room today. He is in Crete with his GF until Saturday so it is a good opportunity to clear his room.

    Todays list
Investigate currency rates for DD1 and us.
    DS2 room
    Walk Coco,
    2pm training st work
    Returns to Next and M&S
    Book haircut for me.

    Morning

Got a couple of hours before I head to the hairdresser, but :coffee: first!

I listed a couple of items on ebeast last night, as part of my plan to clear the DR. So I did some MAD. Other bits were piled into a bin bag for charity shop. If these things don't sell, I really am taking them to b@rnados. Honestly, we could do with the bit of extra cash but it hasn't been forthcoming while the stuff has been gathering dust all summer, lol.

Towels are washed, and on second spin, it looks a bit murky out but I think I'll peg them anyway...

Need to also prep a college lunch for tomorrow, although it may just be a half-day for me, since I went to the induction last week. I'll take a snack just in case...

Other jobs today include dusting and vaccing upstairs. Although with the Lego explosion in DS room I shan't be going in there!!!

Have a good day, all xx
Ps. Donna don't work too hard after having a tooth out, I'm sure my dentist advised to take things a little easy for a day or two till the bleeding was completely finished xx

hi bossymoo - i lost my job due to ill health in august and i have been literally been glued to my online bank balance trying to keep things afloat - thankfully i have got a dining room full of nan's junk (she's downsized from 3 bed to 1 bed) so I have managed to sell some bits and we've lived on this cash and not touched bank account, I've also got a bit obsessed with Tesco Price Matching lol, this has really helped keep shopping bills down

I promise I am following dentist's orders, am boiling water/salt washing/gargling mouth out on the hour - on fire probably a trifle exaggerated lets just say a snail on speed lol, won't last I normally crash by 11 - following these lists lasts week has had such an impact on the house this week, its in order (so to speak) so this week's lists are much easier also - due to pain i have only been sleeping about 2.5 hours per night so after a massive 4 hours 43 mins I have energy to put to a good use rather than sofa/bed surfing or worst crying x

Good luck. You have obviously never had my DD on your school trips. She was always in charge of the bucket!

Mine too.. of my older 8 only 1 did not get travel sick.. I thought the younger 4 would be better as OH drives but no, one of them has it too.. She was ok until about 2 then one time doing the 100mile trip to granny's we had to stop 4 times, it took us 4 hours to do a 2 hours drive.. fortunately we had a spare car seat in at that time because we needed it.. by the 3rd stop she didn't even wake up she was just exhausted! I can't even take 2 of mine on the bus into town (about 15 minutes on the commoner wagon).

updating my post on pg 1 for list.. Twinkle seems a bit happier today.. she has had breakfast!! That is a major breakthrough, this is the first time she has eaten breakfast all week and kept it down!!

I can't believe it's already afternoon! I'm not sure where the morning went. Decluttered a Dr appointment, then went to PO for errands and to collect a parcel. Had a chat. Popped into work to see if the people I needed to see in the morning would be there. Had a chat. Came home and saw a neighbour with her dog. Said hello to the dog, and had a chat. Friend popped in for coffee....and guess what?! More chat.

That's where my morning has gone!

Washing is blowing on the line, but I'm keeping close tabs on the clouds. Bedding changed. I must get the vacuum cleaner out before I go to meet DD and then off to volunteering for the evening.

Hair snipped and much thinned out - phew! It could *almost* be described as sleek! Obviously it won't be when I have to style it myself :rotfl: - it will go like this ---> lol

Upstairs dusted and vacced. One laundry basket sold, to collect later. Towels out on line, piggy bedding in WM inside an old pillow case... Fresh cage set up, furries out on the lawn (it's coming nicer weather this aft!). DW emptied, soup made and dinner decided on for later.

I even did some reading for college *glow*

    Belated happy birthday valli
Yesterday's training was as boring as expected but trains were running well.
Back up in the loft today, making progress but taking much longer than I expected and the hired Henry has to be back tomorrow. Will do another half hour in mask and gloves then vacuum rest of house as dust daily flees the loft and covers all other rooms.
Going to visit friend later, just heard they will operate on Monday although they still don't know what is in her brain.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.
