:rotfl: to only 2p, how disappointing :D.

I remember a few years aqo my DS returning home with a traffic sign  One of my neighbours was rather sniffy about it & we had a policeman across the road
    There are many worse things.

:rotfl: DS's are all the same beanie :D. We abandoned the traffic cone by the side of a dark road last night, and now I'm worried someone saw us and we'll be fined for littering . It's wrong to keep it, but how do you legitimately get rid of it? I'd be a terrible criminal, nerves of jelly :rotfl:.

  • Have been reading your diary over the weekend and you seem to be in the same position as me.....in debt for most of our adult life and now its paid off it still seems hard to save an emergency fund or for a holiday.

When I look back at old lists of debts and what I paid off them each month I wonder where that money has gone now !!!!

I'll be following your diary with interest :)

    Hi milly :hello:

So many wasted years being in debt but we've finally got a chance to live how we're supposed to. It makes me shudder to think that we used to spend £1300 a month on debt repayments. Our business was doing better then, but what a waste!

It is hard not to treat yourself after years of frugal living to pay off debts, but my fear of getting into debt again is driving me.

Good luck with your saving :)

  • Thanks Cumbria I'm sure I'll enjoy it when I get there, it's the packing and the journey .

BIL had stiches out of his back today and it's healing well, but still no biopsy results. Fingers crossed there.

  • Well if you break down, call me. I would make a wonderful fourth emergency service!

I agree I'd make a hopeless criminal. Hopeless at lying unless it has something to do with food. Too honest by half.

Our local council quarterly bulletin came this afternoon and has made me smile - it offers a weaving workshop. Why did I immediately picture weaving from side to side due to alcohol? Seems it is to do with handicrafts, who knew? I did really but I like my version better.

Even been out for a quick shop

    Take care honey

  • Thanks Pauline we'll send out an mse distress call if we break down :).

I would picture drunken weaving too Pauline, although many people don't need lessons in that :D.
