Morning HHD
Hope DS's diagnosis comes through soon. I always think it's easier to deal with something when you know exactly what you're dealing with. Grey areas are so frustrating.
Have a lovely day. xx

Harking back to the tax thing. Unless your earnings are going to be significantly more this tax year .... If they (as I believe) calculate your hours as payable at minimum wage, then you have plenty of hours left to work outside the partnership. But maybe a one third/two thirds split would be better. It could even be better to dissolve the partnership, that way you wouldn't need to employ an accountant, just do the books yourselves. Or would that be a step too far at the moment?0

Yes a diagnosis will help in all areas of life and can help everyone understand, accept and focus on making progress. Good luck with all that driving.15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

The bit about chatting in the car reminded me of one occasion we collected DD2 from UEA. She'd been at a party the night before, hadn't done any of her packing, and announced she was going to sleep the 3-4 hrs home. Then she got in the car and talked non-stop for 3 1/2 hrs !!!
Well at least we knew what she'd been doing.
Thanks Elizabeth. How funny about DD :rotfl:.

Thanks Jwil. I don't know if we'll get any good results from the ombudsman but it's worth a try.

Thanks Badmemory. I don't think either of us could cope with doing the accounts without an accountant as we're both awful at that sort of thing . I doubt if our earnings are going to be significantly more.
If we dissolved the partnership then that would make DH a sole trader and then he'd be liable for all the tax wouldn't he? Sorry if I'm being dense.
