    Thank you Elizabeth :). DH said he hadn't been able to give me a good birthday for the last few years as we were so short of money and he wanted me to have a nice celebration this year :). Anyway we won't make a habit of it.

    Debt in July 2017 = £58,766 😱 DEBT FREE 31 OCTOBER 2017 :T 🎉
    EMERGENCY FUND 1 = £50/£5,000. EMERGENCY FUND 2 = £10/£5,000.
    CHRISTMAS SAVINGS = £0/£500. SEF = £1,400/£12,000 PREMIUM BONDS ME = £350. PREMIUM BONDS DH = £300.
    HOLIDAY MONEY = £0 TIME LEFT TO PAY OFF MORTGAGE = 5 YEARS 1 MONTHS

    That is so lovely! I also used to feel guilty about spending money and was awful for taking things back, but I think on reflection I have never really regretted the money we spent on 'experiences' like lunch out. 'Things' are not as important. Glad you enjoyed it!
