Sounds impressive but I'm not totally sure what it means exactly:o0 -

. My list has dwindled a little too

Now the decorations are up and the cards are done, my Christmas chores just involve buying, wrapping and posting presents, plus planning, buying and cooking Christmas food.
We're watching 'The Christmas Chronicles' at the moment.
Very impressed by how far ahead you are with your Christmas 'jobs':T:j0 -

Well I'm really tired now, so I think it's bedtime.
Won't be long now before you see him again, HH:j.
I hope you sleep well tonight. I should go to bed myself soon. OH is still watching something on TV and I've been reading a book I picked up in a charity shop recently. It's called The Tattooist of Auschwitz and it's a true story. Unputdownable but not a comfortable read.0 -

Thinking of all you marzipan lovers (of which I'm not one:eek:) when I opened Lakeland's latest email given over to their gift hampers. They do a lot of purely marzipan ones, many by Niederegger which is a very famous German maker. Like all hampers, IMO, they are seriously overpriced for the contents inside:(. Lots of lovely things to eat though if you like that sort of thing and have money to [STRIKE]burn[/STRIKE] spare;).0

Debt neutral means you have the money set aside to cover your debt (an equivalent amount in savings), even if the debt is not paid. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

I can't wait to see DS3 again, I've never gone this long without seeing him. I'm hoping he'll come home next weekend :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j.
That sounds like a chellenging book but interesting. I think I have more of a need for escapism at the moment while my RL is so challenging.

Thank you:T
I guess I'm already debt neutral now then:j. I have enough money squirreled away to pay off the remaining debt in full but the stubbornness in me is making me hold out for F&Fs now I've already paid off so much and am so near the end. I intend to come out of all this frugality with a small victory over my creditors. It will certainly be small now too as they've already had more than their pound of flesh off me:mad:0 -

No. you won't be getting rid of me:rotfl:. I love visiting this thread as I feel you and your other posters are kindred spirits:A.
When I'm debt free I hope to start a diary like you have:T. I intend to carry on with the frugality although I hope to let myself off the leash a bit occasionally and enjoy a few of the things that I've given up over so many years.
For practically the first time in my life I want to be a saver:o. I know I've been saving this past year but the money has been purely for F&Fs. I think the time has come to be thinking about saving for its own sake not just with an end goal. I think I've just grown up financially:rotfl:. Exciting times ahead:j0
