  • I feel a bit restless because I've been in all day, so I'll be glad to go out tomorrow.

I'm hoping the customer may pay us tomorrow and that my YG money may come, then I could finally start my Christmas shopping.

We're watching School For Scoundrels now, another favourite :).

  • I've just watched Doctor Who and Strictly results on BBCiplayer - love them both, even though think the new Doctor is a definite step down. We were at friends so was very surprised to emerge after 6 & discover it had been raining !

You seem to have done such a lot, HH, you put me to shame. I've all the Xmas cards to do, most of the presents, and we're only half-decorated ! However, HAVE got bag of presents ready for brother & partner for Tuesday.

Fingers crossed for YG and customer money this week for you.

    My £50 PopulusLive survey cheque arrived:j. ...

Best of all the official letter from Wescot arrived confirming details of the settlement I made with them on the phone on Monday:j. I wasn't sure if they work Saturday afternoon, well the payment people anyway, but I phoned straight away and paid the debt off by debit card.
 Great news, I'm happy for you! :j:j:j

Thank you Elizabeth :). I'll feel better when the cards are posted and the presents bought and wrapped, but it is progress I suppose.

  • This morning I want to walk to the post office and post all my Christmas cards. That will combine exercise, with getting me outside, with a useful errand.

Then at lunchtime DH has to drive DS1 to the dentist to get a broken filling fixed (it's miles away because that was the only NHS one we could find ). DH suggested I go too, so we'll grab a coffee while the tooth is being sorted (we can just about afford it and it will be some rare quality time together for me and DH).

Then in the evening I have Pilates. So a nice busy day, just what I like :D. If money arrives I'd like to order presents too, but we'll see.

I hope everyone has a good Monday :).
