Good news to report on 2 fronts though so I don't mind getting wet. My £50 PopulusLive survey cheque arrived:j. I wasn't expecting it much this side of Christmas, I know them of old. Has your YouGov payment been credited yet, HH?
Best of all the official letter from Wescot arrived confirming details of the settlement I made with them on the phone on Monday:j. I wasn't sure if they work Saturday afternoon, well the payment people anyway, but I phoned straight away and paid the debt off by debit card. Will update my signature later. What a relief to get my second debt out of the way:j. Wescot have been a pleasure to deal with, I'll be sorry not to have anything to do with them now. No, maybe not:rotfl:, I only had dealings with them because of debts and I'm NEVER going to get into that position ever again. I hope it's not a case of famous last words.
Still no response whatsoever from 2 that I sent offers to weeks ago. Their loss. I obviously won't be debt-free by the end of this year as I'd dreamed of being:( but I have enough money saved to pay them so in my heart I can feel debt free even if it's not official.
Great news on that debt being gone

I don't get on with rubber gloves, I never wear them. I had some thin latex ones that were more convenient but they were very short and if the water was deeper than wrist level they filled up with water:eek:
I use the heavy-duty hand cream, the stuff Norwegian fishermen use and stock up if it's ever on offer. I've recently discovered O'Keeffe's Working Hands at Boots which is really good. Worth paying extra if it really works and massive quantities aren't needed to be effective. I used my points to buy the last lot so in effect it was free. Will have to use real money next time though:(. I'm often given hand cream as gifts but it's usually the expensive fragrant type that is a delight to have but not really effective for poor old hands like mine.0 -

I like the Norwegian stuff too. I'm using some N!vea rich body lotion with Q10 (whatever that is ) for dry skin on my hands at the moment, which is pretty effective. I buy whatever brand is reduced but it needs to be good quality to work. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

I've cleaned out the furry moron, folded up some dry laundry and hung up the towels that DH washed earlier. I also disposed of some packaging from stuff that the DC had ordered online. Packaging lying around cluttering up the place is one of my my pet hates .
I feel exhausted again now. I don't sleep very well lately as I can't control my thoughts and keep waking up thinking about my mum
.
Anyway I'm going to stay on the sofa now and relax. Then I'm going to write out some Xmas cards so I don't have to worry about them being late. I bought the cards half price in the charity shop last January :money: and can use some of the stamps stepdad gave me :money:.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Im watching the TV and she's on her DVD player as we couldn't decide on what to watch.
I've barely achieved anything today. I have relaxed mostly for the day. xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

I've got to write my Christmas cards, must do tomorrow, book of stamps already purchased. My list gets shorter every year sadly due to folks no longer with us.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

So does mine sadly.
I tend not to send to people I see often or younger people.
I buy so many stamps and when they are done they are done!I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters.
