I mentioned (at some length, ahem) to DH that I was feeling tired and fraught and he's offered to cook dinner tonight, so all is forgiven :D. I know DH is trying to concentrate on earning money and the DC have emotional issues, so maybe I'm too hard on them.

Now I just need to shower and wash my hair, and then relax until bedtime :).

Glad DH took note. You're not being too hard on them though, no excuses, it doesn't hurt to help. Easier said than done though from bitter experience xx

No it's not easy SA, constant nagging causes bad feeling and is even more exhausting than doing it myself!.

Our £14 tree looks lovely when it's lit up and decorated :xmastree:. One day I'm going to buy some good quality and tasteful decorations, but our cheap ones don't look too bad at all :).

Mind you we have some nice baubles on the tree as we used to let the DC choose a new one each every Christmas :).

Make sure you do nothing too. Emotions really do wipe you out and drain you far more than you think they can.

Sounds like a busy day, and great about the whiskey set. Lidl do a nice alcohol free mulled wine if you fancy the taste, but without the alcohol. You heat it up like mulled wine too. I know it isn't quite the same, but gives the illusion of drinking it.

    Have a good evening. xx
