  • That's good. £17 is a good start.

It's very cold here this morning, but forecast of rain at lunch time for the rest of the day though.

I'm aching today too. Sitting on the toilet was something my legs don't want to repeat. Trying to get up and down is a killer!!

Whoopeee Carboot your signature is looking good now :T :T :T. Sub 5k is amazing well done .

Compared to what you previously owed that seems almost negligible doesn't it? :)

Well done CBC from me too :T
It's pouring with rain this morning and very dark out. I have the joyful prospect of printing off hundreds of invoices for the accountants today . This is going to take all of my willpower. Oh well, I'll feel better when it's done.

My back is sore are my gruelling Pilates workout last night. My Pilates teacher is a sadist :rotfl:.

Have fun with the printing :rotfl: It's miserable here too today.

    Thank you:T

I spoke too soon about the sun shining here earlier. I'd just found enough line space to peg out both loads of washing when the sun disappeared and it's looking very dreary now:eek:.
  • @Jwil Thanks :)

@Carboot It's still heavy rain here and we've had to have a lamp on all morning which won't be helping our electricity bill!

Well I printed out 140 statements for the accountants this morning, put the dishwasher on and put some laundry on to wash. Then I walked to the shops for two loaves of bread and rubber gloves (mine had developed a hole). I also bought some chocolate coins to put in our fabric advent calendar. A total spend of £6.20. Luckily it stopped raining in time for my walk :).

Now I have more stuff to print and I need to free up a folder to organise it all in. All great fun, not!

Well done for keeping it intact - not easy.:T

I also use Youtube for instructional videos, most notably when my daughter was in the air cadets I needed to find out how to tie a Windsor knot.
Then for my Aunt's 90th birthday, I made a Spanish wind cake (actually originally Austrian), which is a fabulous double-cooked meringue filled with fruit & cream. It might not have looked as professional as the video, but it tasted amazing !

I'm feeling very stressed but I've got lots done.

I freed up a concertina file to organise the accounts into, printed off another batch of statements, and found some statements that overlapped this time period from last year's accounts.

Then I had another go at logging in to NPow3r. I've been locked out of my online account for a couple of weeks due to repeated unsuccessful attempts to log in . I finally managed to reset my password and log in. Then I tried to print the statement I needed only to find the printer was out of paper. Then it still wouldn't print until DH did something . By this time I was practically banging my head on the desk with frustration :(. Anyway I finally managed to print the NPow3r statement I needed and I gave them a meter reading while I was in there :T.

Meanwhile DH has been arguing with V!rgin on their online chat. He asked for copies of statements which were not available online. First they said they didn't have them. DH pointed out that under GDPR they are obliged to supply this information. Then they said yes they did have them, but would charge £2 per monthly statement to supply them. DH said under GDPR they are obliged to provide information for free and he's be happy with PDFs. That stumped the V!rgin guy, so he disappeared for ten minutes and then said his computer wasn't working so DH would have to start the conversation all over again with someone else .

I have totally had enough of sorting out accounts now :(. I'm really not in the right frame of mind for all this, but we're running out of time to do it, so I don't have any choice :(. But at least significant progress has been made today :T.

That was a boring rant, sorry :o.
