Thanks Carboot. DS1 and DS2 have a laptop each, but DS2 uses his continually for his business and DS1 would never give his up as he lives on it.

I'm playing catch up as usual so this may have already been said, but as DS is nocturnal, could he lend you yours while he sleeps? Even a couple of hours would make a difference.

    Sending you hugs x

Leave the what box blank and search on your post code, I got over 2000 jobs within 10 miles, which I could then narrow down by category. Its another free for employer one so it does get used.

Great news about being paid and paying the mortgage. Annoying about the car insurance though.

Glad DS is lending you his laptop :T

    Thank you:T

I hope the volunteering went well today and the children weren't too hyper from a combination of no chance to run off steam if it was a wet playtime coupled with Christmas looming:eek:
  • Thanks Carboot :). I enjoyed volunteering very much. I made my group work hard and do lots of writing :). The children were more settled today as their usual teacher was there. It was dry at playtime which helped, in fact the sun came out.

Since then I've packed two summer pedestal fans into the void, put away clean laundry, put some dirty laundry on to wash, put the dishwasher on and cleaned the sink.

I've also had a little flurry of OP surveys and two PA surveys. I'm still a long way from cashing out though.

It's gettting dark already, I hate these dark evenings :(.

I haven't heard anything about the jobs I applied for but it's only been a week. I'm not good at waiting.

Nor am I:o. I'm constantly looking out for the postman's van at the moment, I want responses to my other F&F offers to come. The offers were a bit cheeky so they'll probably be turned down anyway but I live in hope;)

I hope you'll hear some good news soon about your job applications:beer:. The worst part is that often employers don't even acknowledge applications, they get so many, and people have no way of knowing if someone else got the job and carry on waiting and hoping.
