It's a beautiful sunny day today but cool, my perfect weather. The weather forcast said it would be 20 degrees today, but that's hard to believe.

I've emptied DS3's desk and cleaned it. I've also cleaned his window and windowsill which look transformed. The room is much brighter now. His net curtain is washing along with some bedding. When they're drying I'm going to put his curtains in to wash. I've realised that they are machine washable and you can tumble them, so that's good news.

When I've recovered from that bout of cleaning I'm going to attempt to tackle the VAT return I've been putting off for two months . Just the thought of it makes me feel stressed, but the fact I haven't done it is stressing me too . DH said he will help me do it.

If I manage to accomplish that then I'll do some ironing before going for a long walk. DS1 has a friend recently diagnosed with cancer at only 25 and because of that she has to have a hysterectomy. Poor girl I feel so sad for her . She is coming to hang out with DS1 this afternoon, so I'll time my walk to coincide with that visit as I'll be banished from the living room.

DS2 has an appointment at the travel clinic today for innoculations in preparation for his trip to India! I'm not sure how quickly he will get a visa, but he wants to get the innoculations done first.

Hi Hairy. I'm glad everything went well at the uni and as others said, he'll be back before you know it. I think though after all your work cleaning out his bedroom at home you should pay yourself with the coins you collected in the jar!

Sorry to hear about your son's friend and I do hope things go well for her.
