Well DS2 is on his way to the airport. It always feels a bit sad to wave him off, we won't see him for two months this time. He'll have such an interesting time though and being there for two months will be quite an immersive experience
.
It's still raining outside so no gardening or sorting garden rubbish today . I have some ironing that I must do as I'm running out of things to wear. I should also clean the bath, wash and bleach the shower curtain and vacuum the whole house. But will I? I don't feel very inspired at the moment
.
It's only about three weeks until I go to Scotland :eek:Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Thanks Cumbria. The rain stopped at lunch time but the garden has had a good soaking. Have a good time with your friend.

Hi Hairy - your break away at your dad's sounded just the ticket - and lovely weather too!
Hope D2S has a good journey. Two months in Spain at his age! What a great experience!
You certainly did a lot in the garden yesterday! I'd have a relax today though. I'm meaning to iron later, but latest episode of "Hidden is calling to me or perhaps my latest book?........:DFinally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Thanks SSG I did have a lovely break
.
I do feel a bit tired after yesterday but literally all my tops need ironing as I've been away  and I'm unlikely to fit ironing in in the week. I can only do it if the fan's on me though as it's so hot .
DS2 will have a lovely time, I wish I was going with him.

I'm envious of the rain. Never thought I would say that, but the garden is bone dry and the lawns look very dead.
Glad you had a good break, love the sound of the lavender farm.My mortgage free diary: +++ Divide by Cucumber Error. Please reinstall universe and reboot+++
