    DS2 has arrived in Madrid and is with the host family. That's all I know but I'm glad he's arrived safely :).

    I'm so hot and tired that I want to go to bed soon!

    I stopped ironing once I got to grips with the washing-machine setting that leaves everything much wetter (not dripping, though) and I just hang it all up and let the weight pull it flat on the line if fine, and on coat-hangers in upstairs doorways if wet.

    We went to friends for afternoon tea yesterday (we all took something). It was a lovely occasion, though the hostess had bought some large luscious strawberries so our little home-grown alpine strawberries, both red and white, got rather overlooked ! Still, most came home and hubby & I ate them with relish !!

    I heard a word from DS2 today, literally one word :rotfl:. This morning I messaged him and said "How are you? Did you sleep well?" and DS2 replied "Yes." :rotfl:

    I've definitely come back with more energy after my week away. I sorted out DS2's 20 rubbish bags today and they're all ready to go to the tip :T.

    I had a flurry of PA surveys and a YG survey today :beer:.

    Tomorrow I'm planning on going for my park walk before it gets too hot, I must shift that 10 pounds :mad: (it may be more after being away :eek:).
