  • A few weeks ago I noticed a coconut on DS3's floor. A couple of days later he asked DH how you open a coconut :rotfl:. Yesterday I noticed he'd thrown it away. Obviously the effort was too much for him :rotfl:. If he was a castaway on a desert island he'd starve to death .

  • I've been feeling very tired today so I've been trying not to do anything extra. I'm hoping another early night will do the trick as I want to volunteer tomorrow.

Yesterday I went to Mr T and spent £81 on the week's food, which is on budget :T. Afterwards DH and I nipped into town and got DH some work shoes for half price in the Cl@rks sale (£32.50 reduced from £65) :money:.

It was after we got back that it suddenly hit me how tired I was :(. So today I've only done what's essential and rested apart from that. Hopefully I'll feel full of beans again tomorrow. I must learn to pace myself :o.

I have the perfect solution: watch Federer this afternoon, with a jug of iced water and maybe a lemon slice or 2 in it !

  • I slept for ten hours last night and felt much better this morning. So I did my volunteering, where I was painting giant vowels with poster paints, great fun :D.

I walked home and put towels in the garden to dry. It was really hot again today. I got work done this afternoon and also sorted some books to go to the charity shop.

My PA money cleared today so £21 went into my account :T. I feel quite tired again this evening so another early night beckons.

I hope everyone is having a good Friday :).

Ten hours sleep  Not slept for that long since I was a teenager!

I think the hot weather is very draining. But shouldn't complain after the awful winter.

    Have a fab weekend xx
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

  • I've had a busy but productive day.

We've ordered a shoe rack for my side of the bedroom so I don't have to share one with DH. To make room for it I decided that I need to get rid of/bring downstairs some of my books. So I took a pile of books I probably won't read to the charity shop this morning, and brought a big stack downstairs to double up on the shelves of the living room bookcase.

As a result I emptied a large plastic box which was previously full of books :T. I've given it to DH to put some of the clutter from his side of the room in.

There's more to be done but I now have a space on my side of the room :T.
