Well done D2S! What a great adventure for him!
I was another that married young and didn't go abroad till I was in my early 20s - and it was only the normal package type hol. I've travelled more in the last few years - I've also got to a point now where there are certain places I don't care if I ever visit, i.e. Middle and Far East, South America. Would like to visit more of the US, see Canada, some more European cities, Scandinavia, New Zealand - St Petersburg would be near the top of the list too. So many places!:). And of course our lovely U.K.! Still plenty to see here! Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

OH took a car boot full of items to a few different charity shops yesterday. More than a boot full actually as he also had the back seats folded down to get more in:T. A bit of it was mine but most of it was his:j. He's at long last taken heed of my years of [STRIKE]nagging[/STRIKE] gentle persuasion to get rid of a lot of clutter. The charity shops in the small town he went to are really small and already crammed full of stuff so he decided to spread his treasures out between them all. They all snatched his hand off for the jigsaws. He has piles of them, it's already made a difference not having a wall of jigsaw boxes higher than me in one of the spare bedrooms:rotfl:.
I've plenty to donate too but it will be to the 'new' shop of the local animal charity that I volunteer for. I volunteer at the rescue centre not at the shop and as the shop is such a long drive from here the rescue centre manager says I can drop my items off with her when I'm next in volunteering as her daughter calls at the shop a couple of times a week herself. Will save me a lot of petrol and hassle as parking anywhere near that shop is impossible:(

I agree that there are some places I'm not bothered about visiting. I love historical remains and archaeology so I'd love to go to Egypt, Machu Pichu, the Great Wall of China, Pompeii, etc. I'd also like to visit Scandinavia, New York, Washington, Seattle, Canada and New Zealand. Plus lots of places in Europe like Bruges, Vienna, Barcelona, etc.
I need to win the lottery basically. Well at least I've got a passport now!

Well done on persuading OH to do some de-cluttering. I love getting rid of clutter.

I've done two mornings in a row of volunteering so I feel pretty shattered now, but I feel like I'm building up my work experience and I enjoy it.
The new customer paid us today so DH bought his new phone. It's a lot of money to spend  but it's part of his sales kit and sometimes you have to spend money to make money. DH is delighted but worried about having spent money on himself. It's for the business though really.
DS3 has revealed that he's got enough points to get into uni so that's good news :T.
I haven't had a PA survey for weeks which is sad, but hopefully it will pick up eventually.
Have a good evening everyone.
