  • Talking of the furry moron, DS1 went to bed on Thursday night and forgot to put him back in his cage, so he had free run of the living room all night .

DH popped his head around the door on Friday morning and did a double take when he saw a rabbit sitting in the middle of the room . The furry moron was doing his Sphinx impression and appeared to be asleep :rotfl:.

Amazingly he hadn't chewed any cables or peed on the carpet, so he was a very good boy.

I wish I could have had cats - hubby never liked pets so our girls have only ever had goldfish.
But they both have cats in their own houses, and I have friends with cats, and internet cats, and Youtube cats.......................

Well done to DS3. I had a school friend go to Royal Holloway. It had only just started taking male undergraduates then and they were outnumbered several times over by the women. Disconcertingly from the outside the main building looks a lot like Holloway prison. I hope he enjoys his time there and does not find it too expensive living in London.

The furry moron kicks sawdust over the carpet every time we vacuum, I'm sure he does it on purpose .

Maybe you should swop hubby for a cat :rotfl:. I like cats too but three of us have asthma and are allergic to cats :(. I grew up with a dog, then rabbits and guinea pigs and then cats, before my asthma came on. The furry moron will probably be our last pet sadly.

Thanks :). He will get a full loan so should manage hopefully. One thing we have taught our DC is how to be frugal :T. We couldn't afford to spoil them :o.

  • I haven't done any of my chores since getting back because I started to feel a bit rough. I've had a lie down but that doesn't seem to have helped :(. I've got a headache, neck ache, ear ache and the sinuses in my cheek feel blocked and uncomfortable :(. I hope I'm not coming down with anything just before I go away.
