Hope you're on the mend tonight Hairy. Pesky colds!
Nice to have relatives scattered around so you can visit somewhere different.
I'm sure your boys will love Iceland, and they'll be back before you know it. Iceland is on my bucket list. I saw the Northern Lights once when I was in Scotland but would love to see them in all their glory further north. As I get older the Northern countries are beginning to call to me......:D

@SSG @INOD My niece went whale watching in Iceland but didn't see any whales so they were just watching :rotfl:. They did see the northern lights though. DS1 and DS2 want to go to ice caves, go whale watching, see the northern lights and visit a glacier.
I'd love to go one day. I must start saving. The only thing standing between me and adventure is money
. Maybe on DH and my 35th wedding anniversary

I loved Iceland, and saw the northern lights. One of my best moments ever."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0

My cold feels much better today, although I still feel very tired. I went to Mr T and spent £74 which is not bad :T.
I want to go volunteering tomorrow so I'll have another early night tonight.
DH helped DS2 and DS3 get some stuff they need for Iceland today. The Post Office computer was down all today, so that will have to be sorted tomorrow ..
Hope everyone has had a good Wednesday

DS2 and DS3 are at the age where they hide in their rooms and don't speak to us that often (especially DS2), but with all the travel arrangements they are speaking to us a lot at the moment which is really nice
.
In fact when DS2 was in New Orleans he spoke to us every day via Messenger (well I spoke to him and he answered :rotfl:) whereas at home we can go for days without even seeing him.
Happy moments come at unexpected times sometimes

I did my volunteering today. I always feel happy afterwards
. I was doing maths which is not my best subject but even I find infant level easy :rotfl:.
Then I was in the office all afternoon and now I'm cooking. I also wrote a packing list for DS2 and DS3. DH went with DS2 to order their Icelandic money. We just need to arrange DS3's travel insurance and then I think it's all sorted apart from dropping them at the coach station! They can do their own packing :rotfl:.
We're doing all the work and getting none of the holiday, the things you do for your DC .
A NSD apart from buying myself a lovely cold P3psi on the way home from volunteering. No surveys today but I've got £9 cleared on PA and £3 pending.
Have a great Thursday all

Hope the DS have a great holiday and that no girlfriends appear in Iceland . Glad you are feeling a little better . I would be the same with maths, though I hope I could do infant maths!
My DGS told me he has been dancing round a maypole today , bet that was chaos in the nursery class.
I bet you miss the DS x2 , even though they don't communicate much.
