Transactional analysis is really interesting. Hope you enjoy the book

I've heard of it but don't really know what it is, so it will be interesting to find out :).

    Happy Sunday :)

    Thanks Beanie :).

I've weeded two borders and they look much better, plus deadheaded some flowers. I had to come in after that because I was too hot! There's no shade in our garden in the afternoon. I also weeded the front garden earlier and had a short chat with our new neighbour, she seems nice.

I feel really tired now . I was going to clean the bathroom but I may leave it for another day. I'd like to pack away my winter jumpers, blankets, etc, so I'll do that when I've had a rest.

I wish I had more stamina, I must be getting old :(. Mind you I did a lot of steps yesterday (12,489) plus housework when I got home.

DS1 is out doing some rare socialising, which is good :).

You're one up on me then HH, as I've never even heard of it:o.

I went to a house sale(well, the contents of the house and small home business) on Saturday morning and treated myself to a heavy duty paper shredder. It looks brand new and the owner said it had only been used 6 times. It shreds anything, up to 14 pages at once and runs for ages before needing a quick cool down. It will replace my old one which totally burned out but given the use it was put to and the fact that it was a real cheapie basic model it's hardly surprising. The new one retails at around £114 online (cheapest price) and I got mine for £20:j:j:j. Can't wait to play with it but have been too busy since I got it. Just need to persuade OH to clear out the contents of his 2 full size 3-drawer filing cabinets now. He saves everything, a lifetime of payslips etc.
  • I hope you're all enjoying the weather, although as with you, HH, it's too hot for me too:(

The car boot sale went reasonably well despite the buyers being a bit sparse. Obviously they had better things to do today. It was really cool and misty first thing but baking hot by 11 o'clock:(. Glad to be home with the profit of £93.15 and a fair amount of clutter gone:j. Going to have a shower and then a few cups of tea. However hot the weather, tea is my saviour and reviver:j
  • That was a bargain on the shredder and not a bad profit from the car boot sale. I drink tea whatever the weather too :). Enjoy your tea Carboot :).

I reckon most people are at the beach or picnicking on the moors today. I feel too tired after my gardening to go out anywhere and DH usually likes to stay in and chill on a Sunday.

Hi Hairy - catching up with you - hoping that you get paid out soon!

Your book sounds intriguing ( I'm afraid I don't know what transactional analysis means either!)

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday.

It is an interesting book, I bet the whole situation is even worse now as it was written a few years ago.

  • Good news and bad news. Our biggest invoice was paid today :T but I've caught DS1's head cold . The good news very much outweighs the bad. We've paid the council tax and NP0wer and topped up the emergency fund a bit, what a relief :j.

I feel very rough today due to the cold :(, but got some work done plus two loads of laundry dried in the garden.

I need an early night now because I feel bone weary :(. I'm back on the eccinacea again!
