Hi everyone
.
The first job of today was to weigh myself. That didn't go well . I've put on four pounds in the last two weeks . Not really surprising when I think what I've been eating, including two meals out.
However today is the first day of my healthy eating regime with the aim of losing ten pounds by 1st July. With that in mind so far today I've eaten:
Breakfast - oats with skimmed milk
Lunch - cheese on wholemeal bread plus satsuma
Snacks - banana, grapes, blueberries and rasberries
So far so good. Dinner will be DH's pasta bake followed by cider (ahem).
I did my Saturday ramble. I spent £2.20 on the bus, £2.65 on my lovely lovely latte, £1.25 on a book and £10ish in Mr T on fruit, cheese, pasta and crackers.
Since I got home I've cleaned out the furry moron and emptied all the bins. I just need to put some more towels on to wash (where did all the clean ones go?) shower and the relax.
Hope everyone is having a good SaturdayFinally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

I fogot to mention that I also sucumbed to a pack of six Violas from the market for £1.80. I can't wait to get all my flowers in pots tomorrow and it had better not rain
.
I bought a punnet of grapes for £2 from Mr T, then walked past a fruit stall that was selling punnets for £1 . My internal voice went "Nooooooo!!!!". I bought a punnet of those too in the end, because I feel a bit unhealthy and run down still and want to pump us full of nourishing fruit and vitamins. I know from past experience that the best way to wean us off chocolate is to have nice fruit in the house.
So far today I've done 10,453 steps which should help with the weight loss :j.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Don't forget you lost the 8lbs because you had no appetite and wasn't eating. That was a drastic way to lose weight and now you're eating normally that's why it's going back on. The ideal amount to lose and keep it off is 1-2lbs a week. Once it's levelled out you should start losing steadily again provided you watch what you eat and keep the steps upI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

True SA. I need to keep my food diary again because it's so easy for extra calories to sneak in and I seem to have very little willpower at the moment
. I want to be my target weight for the summer as all my clothes fit better and it gives my confidence a massive boost.
Can you fit well into your holiday clothes SA? I expect you can with all the steps you do.
