HHoD is it limited company or self employed? Does it use your surname so its obvious? References aren't worth the paper they are written on frankly, we don't expect more than a confirmation of name and date of employment out of a company reference, and character references can be provided by just about anybody.
Its always easier to write a CV for someone else. I bet we could come up with some great words for you, or feel free to PM me when you are ready and I will help. I'm better at technical/professional/office/manager ones than anything child related though.
Hope this helps! My mortgage free diary: +++ Divide by Cucumber Error. Please reinstall universe and reboot+++

I think that is the cry of most mothers - “it’s quicker to do it myself!”:D
I was like that too but ended up giving DD jobs to do in the long break before she went up to uni. The premise was: everything in the house to be kept tidy and one job to do per day, I.e washing the windows. It actually worked out ok - and she still had time for her p/t supermarket job!
And excellent idea on the NT outings. Good, healthy day out and positive nice time spent together!:TFinally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Oh gosh HHOD, what a nightmare 24 hours you have had. Im glad DH has been tested and will wait to see the outcome from next week.
Im not surprised you feel down, I would be the same. Just thinking if you do do a bit of voluntary you could ask them for a reference if you should start applying for jobs? xxMummytogirls x0 -
I agree with SSG, particularily about the meeting new people part.
I think that's the thing I miss the most about not working, being part of a community. And the monthly salary!Seasidegal58 wrote: »Don’t be daft - you can moan on here as much as you like.
Glad OH has decided to become human again and appreciate you.
I don't think DH means to be selfish. He just has no idea how hard I work. The first time I went on my great escape and got back, he said he hadn't realised how much I did around the house, and that he'd hardly got any work done because he'd spent so much time doing housework! Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
