We eat between 7 and 8 when I cook, but we're a house full of adults. I think I'd be hungry before bedtime if I ate earlier than 7. You do well to manage Carboot with your electrical issues.
.
We're usually up and about by 6.30 every morning and have had our breakfast by 7. To eat any later than 6.30 in the evening would mean we've lots of hungry hours in between as we don't have a big lunch:eek:. We don't go to bed all that early, maybe 11-ish or later and OH often has a snack in the evening. It's one he doesn't need preparing for him, such as a hot cross bun or a scone and a drink:rotfl:. I don't tend to be hungry after my evening meal but then again I tend to cook and eat huge portions anyway:o0 -

Also, he tends to hover if I'm cooking which I find so annoying that it's easier just to let him get on with things. Only prob is that he can't tidy as he goes. So infuriating.
My DH doesn't tidy as he goes either, must be a man thing :rotfl:carbootcrazy wrote: »We're a house of adults too but you wouldn't always know it from OH's behaviour:rotfl:

It gives you time to burn off some calories before bed. I have two snacks between lunch and dinner, I usually have a banana at 4.00 and a slice of brown bread at 5.00. I'd never last otherwise, but I hate going to bed hungry.

I'm paying for it today, I'm used to 10,000 but not 17,000. Hopefully it'll shift the pounds though.
