Yes enjoy your Saturday day out Hairy.

The mystery review of restaurants sounds right up my alley. Though not sure it will help my diet though!:D

Thank you everyone for the passport discussion - just reminded me that mine expires in a few months time!

My Saturday started well because I've lost 2 pounds :T:j:T:j:T:j

I went into town on the extremely crowded bus and bought two mugs in a sale. I remembered my Boots card, and found that I was able to buy the item DS3 wanted with my points :T I didn't even know I had points on the card, so £4.50 saved :T. I had my yummy latte, then met DH and DS1.

DH bought two jumpers and some socks with his £50 voucher and they cost exactly £50, what are the chances? His jumpers were originally £45 each but he got them both for £36 and some posh socks for £14 :T. I love a sale :D.

We did DS1's errands and then went back to Costalot. I had another latte and the others had a half price toastie each and no drink. I got charged £10.90 and I suddenly thought hang on, that can't be right. They'd charged full price for the toasties . So I went back to the server and he refunded me £2.80. Then I thought hang on, that still isn't right, so back I went and he gave me another pound .

It's lucky I asked for a receipt and checked it, I bet a lot of people wouldn't notice .

Then we went to Mr T and bought fruit, milk, cider etc for around £11. I realised when I got home that the cider wasn't needed, but it'll save me buying it next week.

I was walking around town for five hours in total and have done 13,633 steps so far, no wonder my feet hurt . I didn't have lunch until 3.30pm .

When I got home I cleaned out the furry moron, emptied the kitchen bins and the dishwasher and put some laundry on to wash.

    I am tired now .

Well done on your weight loss :)

Fab bargains in the sales, sometimes I think it's best to hang on until the tail end of sales as you can get some great bargains.

  • Yes there is less choice later on in the sales but you can get some great reductions :).

I'm starving at the moment, but don't want to eat in case I stop losing weight :o. DH is cooking and he always takes hours over it, I'm not sure how he manages to take so long
