Really glad DS2 enjoyed his birthday, John Wick is an awesome film.

I'm a Pisces and DH is an Aquarius, kids are total opposites, DS is Cancer and DD is Leo. Not sure if Aquarius is supposed to be compatible or not? Lol

I tend to retain water when I eat Chinese. I think it has something to do with the additives. It takes two or three days to go again.

're the takeaways - have you thought of getting just the main dish and prepare the rice or noodles at home?

I am always impressed with your walks and steps. I did talk about getting a fitbit but I've put that on hold until I know what is happening.

This week I have been concentrating on fabbing - putting on jewellery, perfume, body lotion etc. I couldn't remember the last time. It seems daft to have it all in a cupboard. I did treat myself to some cheap perfume using some Amazon credit I had accumulated from surveys.

Tomorrow morning I will write my menu plan, still using up the contents of the freezer and cupboards.

Do you use my supermarket? I have all my regular items on my shopping list and I can see where it is cheapest. Also it has tabs for savvy buys and best savings. Also ukhotdeals highlights bargains.

I am a Lidl and Iceland convert. Most products I've tried I've liked and the savings are amazing. 4 pints semi skimmed milk 99p in Iceland, £1.09 in Asda. I also like Iceland's takeaway main courses. Not as good as dishes from a takeaway but acceptable.

I think (hope) the Chinese meal caused me to retain water Pauline . Hopefully I'll lose at least a pound by next Saturday, which is my weigh day.

I'm glad you're doing some fabbing Pauline, it will make you feel much better and there's no point in having lovely things you don't use .

I don't have a Lidl near me but I should definitely check out Iceland some time.

The sun is out today :j so I'm going to clean the outside windows and weed the front garden. I'm quite embarassed about the state of the windows, all grime and cobwebs :eek:.

After that I need to do some more laundry and plan our meals for next week. I also want to relax and browse on here .
