Hooray to the new fence that will give you the privacy you need πππ enjoy πππ
I wish we could get workmen to finish a job so quickly. Ours seem to take on that many jobs at once they have to juggle them around and a job takes forever to finish π‘π‘ΒJanuary spends - Β£587.586 -
Great use of your holiday money. You were very lucky to catch the fence chap at the right time.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

How lovely to be able to get the new fence - it will seem a bit holiday-like to get your privacy !
DGS was back at school on Monday, I saw a photo of the newly-reunited class, happy & smiling - looking at it I had to admit to DD2 I had 'something in my eye'........
It's a small school so the whole year is nothing like what you have to cope with. Cold, I think, is easier than rain. Is your 'tricky boy' affected by the weather ?5 -

.
The tricky boy is in reception now as the work is more his level, so thankfully I don't have to cope with him.

I've had a tiring day and it was one of my half days π§! It's because this morning we had a Mr T delivery to carry in and wipe down, plus the builder was here finishing the fence and I can never relax if something like that is going on.
Then once I got to school we had heavy rain and winds π§βπ§at lunchtime so the children had to stay in the classroom. The teacher had taken the laptop away so I couldn't put on anything for them to watch so they had to do colouring while I read them stories. Then getting their coats on and getting them up to the canteen was like a military operation π. This afternoon I had to supervise the class for ages while the teacher did science experiments with five of them at a time somewhere else π . So I was glad to get home and rest. I dont know how I'm going to cope with the rest of the week as I have two full days coming up ππ©.Β
Anyway at least this job is making me very resourceful and is stretching my abilities to the full. This is me being positive π. Plus I'm looking forward to a (hopefully) dry weekend so that I can admire the new fence and topping in the garden π .Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

That's brilliant news about the fence!Β That will be nice to enjoy when the sun comes back
I imagine it must be hard this week for the school staff, it's a lot to take on, trying to settle the kids back in as well as manage everything, and getting back into a routine. I hope the next two days aren't too bad."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
