Funny one can remember something totally useless like that, and I can't remember where I put something from last week !!!..6 -
It’s like being able to remember song lyrics from the 70s/80s but not what you just went upstairs for @elizabethhull 🤣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

I am sure I remember a store in Manchester near Kendals where you could exchange your stamps for goods. I also remember co-op divi stamps. I still get co-op divi but on a card, I even got over £200 for buying a funeral.I also remember going skating at the rink near Strangeways. We certainly dredge up some memories don't we?6

I'm sure you will be very relieved to see the back of Np££er and find a more reasonable provider.
I assume it was thought your tricky pupil could cope in a mainstream school, but it does make a lot of extra work for everyone. One can only hope that time and effort will help him 'normalise' or he may find the other pupils becoming less tolerant . I am sure you are doing as well as anyone could expect, and every positive interaction with him is helping.
DH and I, DD1 & DSIL, and DD2 are all spending Xmas separately. What with high tiers and uncertainty it seemed best. I had a little weep about it all this morning (probably not the last time!), but it is what it is. We are taking a Xmas Eve box round to DD2 on the pretext of exercising the car to prevent the battery failing yet again, so she will have Xmas pyjamas and a basket of nice fruits. We all intend to photograph our Xmas lunches to share, and open presents via Zoom., making the best of what has been a dismal year for families not living together. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

I remember my mum collecting Green Shield stamps and Cwop shop stamps and my sisters and I used to love sticking them in the books for her 🙂. Thanks for the tentacled energy provider recommendations. I'll definitely go through the MSE energy club to switch.
It was really good having a leisurely breakfast this morning instead of a mad rush watching the clock. I've put my work clothes on to wash and I've put two sets of lights on the big Christmas tree and decorated it 🎄. This took all morning can you believe but it does look really festive 🎅. I've remembered that the tree was actually worth £14 but we only paid £5 due to our Mr T tokens. Our tree lights are 17 years old and so is the tinsel so it's a very MSE tree 💷, but we do have some lovely and individual baubles that we've collected over the years.
I still need to assemble the small kitchen tree and decorate it, put the charity shop wreath on the front door and put a few other bits and bobs around. We never got around to taking down our porch lights so all we need to do is switch them on. I'd like to upgrade our tree, lights, etc, one day, but not this year as they're good enough and I do worry about economic storms ahead so I want to have a frugal Christmas.
I hope everyone is having a good Saturday so far 🎅.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
