HH so please you had such a good catch up with DS3 and I hope you see him at Christmas as well. The news of your house jobs being paid for is a lovely thing to happen, I hope it gets done before winter then you will be nice and warm. Work sounds very busy and I can understand why you are so tired when you get home. The garden will be able to be enjoyed all winter now with all the hard work you have put it over the summer .Enjoy Sunday .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.5

Enjoy your weekend.milann said:Certainly makes me wonder what Christmas will look like this year😳.....Nicnak said:I hadn't even thought of Christmas x. I'm totally unprepared for Christmas this year but as long as DS3 can come home for it I'll be happy. I hope some of the NT Christmas fair are on as they always put me in a Christmassy mood, but they may cancel them due to social distancing this year.

I enjoyed Sunday as I didn't do very much apart from washing, ironing and reading my book. DH and I had coffee in the garden twice to make the most of the sunshine ☕☀️.
Monday was good but tiring. I was in my year two class all day, on playground duty at morning break and had my usual fifteen minutes for lunch so I hardly sat down all day. I'd done 14,000 steps just around the school by the time I got home! First thing in the morning two children had to be detached from their parents where they were clinging like limpets and escorted into school crying and one of them proceded to have a massive tantrum in the cloakroom, but they were both fine after ten minutes and seemed happy for the rest of the day. There's never a dull moment at school 🤣. I wore a long sleeved top and felt much warmer.
It's a lovely sunny day today so I need to make the most of it as heavy rain is forcast for tomorrow and Friday 😳. I like working outdoors when it's sunny but not when it's raining.
DH, DS1 and DS2 have a flu jab booked at 10am so it will be good for them to get that out of the way. I'm hoping to have mine at the beginning of October. Apparantly it's possible to get flu and covid-19 at the same time which would be fairly grim 😱.
DH managed to save us some money on the car recently. The power steering fluid has been leaking and the garage said it would be expensive to repair and more sensible to just keep topping it up, so DH bought some fluid for around a tenner and topped it up, which was a lot cheaper than getting the garage to do it.
I hope everyone has a good Tuesday 🙂.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Morning HHD
You're right about schools and there never being a dull moment.
I don't have the flu jab but I needed to pick up a script for Mum yesterday and was asked if I'd like one while I waited. I declined but I was a bit surprised as I thought they were in short supply. Just to make conversation I asked how many she'd managed to 'sell' that day and she said about 15. It was really foggy here this morning but it's lovely and warm now with bright blue sky. Good newsthat there's a cheaper alternative for your car problem. Have a lovely day. xx

It's was raining when I got up and very gloomy and by lunchtime is was chucking it down and windy 🌧💧☂️. It was my first wet lunchtime with my new class but they were as good as gold. However I did feel tired and soggy after escorting them to the canteen in the rain and wind and then back again. Rainy weather is very tiring somehow. It's brightened up a bit now anyway and at least I won't have to water the garden!
I slept badly last night as DH was due to get a phone call from the doctor to discuss the result of his hip x-ray. After what happended to BIL I've been feeling anxious about it since August 😔. Anyway DH missed the call because his phone was on silent 🙄 but the nurse left a message luckily to say that it was nothing to worry about but she wanted to talk to the doctors about how to help DH with his bursitis and so a doctor would ring him tomorrow. I feel relieved that it's nothing serious as I had visions of bone cancer, so hopefully I'll sleep better tonight 🙂.
Apart from hanging up some wet washing and cleaning the bathroom sink I've done nothing since I got back from school as I feel tired and cold. So I've been reading a book under a blanket and trying not to fall asleep.
I hope everyone is having a good Wednesday 🙂.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
