Hope you had a better sleep last night HH and that your DH gets some help now with his hip, a worrying time. It was awful here yesterday as well, I went for my flu jab and got drowned walking from the car to the surgery . Today has started of lovely and sunny I can walk at lunchtime again. Are you planting for winter so you can enjoy your garden on a crisp winter day ? How is your sister doing ? Have a good day at school .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.5

Pleased to hear dh hip was nothing too serious - although I know bursitis can be painful. I had a course of acupuncture and physio several years ago which sorted it our for a good while.
Pleased to hear the class were well behaved during the wet dinner time. Did they stay out in it or were they in the classroom. I found before the holidays in Bubble School - they stayed outside in all sorts of weather - before the virus they’d have been brought in, in some of the rain but they were told to fasten their coats and the fresh air is what was needed 🙄💨☔️💦😱January spends - £587.586 -
Glad hip news wasn't anything to worry about and hopefully you did sleep much better.
I think a lot of people this year are a lot more thankful of seeing family as opposed to presents and everything else. XSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x5 -

I feel relieved that it's nothing serious as I had visions of bone cancer, so hopefully I'll sleep better tonight 🙂.
It's odd how some people fret about things they have no control over, sleep badly, get anxious etc (you, my DH), and others aren't bothered until it happens (me). There's nothing you can do to change the sort you are, and both types tend to find the opposite approach incomprehensible !!
It was lovely and sunny most of today here - hope you enjoyed some sunny hours too.6 -

I've got some plants that are evergreens, like the bay trees and rhododendrons, then I've got some chrysanthemums that have survived from last year and some cyclamen that starting to flower. I also have roses, lavendar and geraniums that are still flowering.
My sister is coping well considering. She is back at work now but is locked down so can only see one daughter outside of work.

My class were in for half an hour and then out for ten minutes. They were really good though and did colouring while I read them stories. We stay out in light rain but if it's really chucking it down then we go indoors.

I slept really well last night as I'd stopped worrying about DH 🙂. The nurse said today there's no sign of cancer in his hip, but he has wear and tear and arthritis in his hip plus a slight compression of the spine. His weight is partly responsible plus the fact that he sits in front of a computer all day.
School was fine today. I did lunchtime plus the afternooon in a reception class. It was sunny up until about mid afternoon so I made the most of the sunshine ☀️ as it's going to be heavy rain for the next three days apparantly 💦🌧💧☔ 😱.
It definitely feels colder now so I need to get my gloves, etc, out 🧤🧣. I'm thinking maybe I should buy five cheap pairs of fingerless gloves for school so that I can wear a clean pair every day. I really do need gloves or my hands freeze in the playground and it doesn't do my arthitris any good. Two of the cardigans I bought for school are nice but one is a really yukky colour so I need to change that one. They do seven colours in this range but I only like two of the colours unfortunately, but I'll look at them in the shop to see if they look any better in real life.
My photos have arrived today. I took some lovely family ones over the summer and took DS1's advice to get them printed by Ph0t0b0x as they come out beautifully and it's much cheaper than buying photo paper and ink to print them yourself. I want to replace a photo collage I have in the kitchen with more recent ones to remind me of lovely family days out we had this summer 🙂.
I hope everyone has had a good Thursday.
