Hi HHD
Lovely to hear from you again. Sounds like you all enjoyed DS3's time at home. DD heads back tomorrow and the house is definitely going to seem a lot quieter without her. I like the sound of your Headteacher regarding the outdoors
DS is still stuck in the same class for the whole day, only moving around a couple of times a week when his options dictate it.
I can imagine you have very mixed feelings about your Mum's house, but it's nice of your stepdad to offer to pay for your house to be re-rendered and painted. Hope your husband's work is picking up and he won't be too badly affected by the new rules brought in. xx5 -

My Mum's old house has sold now which is sad, but stepdad has said he will pay to have our house re-rendered and painted with some of the money. I'm not sure if he means just the front, or the front and back (both need doing) but I've asked for some quotes for both and then he can decide how much he wants to spend. It will be nice when it's done as the house will stop getting damp when it rains and the wallpaper will stop peeling off because of the damp.
I'll try and post more regularly now I'm back in my routine.
Currently not seen DD1 since Xmas - no idea when we might meet, and not cuddled DD2 or DGS since March, despite several back-garden visits. I hate what this virus is doing to families.
Good news about your Mum's house, and how thoughtful of your stepdad to earmark some of the money for you, so you can think of your Mum keeping you warmer and dryer for years to come.6 -

Good luck with the newbies in reception - it’s a shock to the system when they first start. It’s amazing to see how they come on in that first year.. Sorry to worry you. I am looking forward to the work being done, although I don't know how soon the builders can do it.

It's true that I do always miss him more when I've just seen him. That's such a shame you haven't seen DD1 since Christmas. I hate what this virus is doing to families too. I haven't seen my dad since last August and he's 87

Today I did my lunchtime job with year 1 and then was in a reception class this afternoon. Tomorrow I'm in year 2 all day. It occurs to me that I'm in three bubbles so let's hope I don't catch the virus 😱. I felt like a sheepdog rounding up the four year olds as some of them are still getting the hang of lining up and one girl kept trying to take other childrens' coats 🤣.
It was cold and windy today and I felt like I needed gloves in the playground 🌬. I think I'm going to wash some winter clothes this weekend 🧤🧣. I'm sitting under a blanket right now as I'm cold, but there is no way the heating is going on in September!
I hope everyone is having a good Thursday 🙂.

The weather does seem to have got a lot colder in the last few days. I am already getting out my jumpers and thinking about washing my hats to freshen them up.
It's hard when you are mixing bubbles. We are mixing them at work with a few staff moving from different centres. It's so hard and I don't see an end to it at all yet. xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

The weather has been cold here too 😩 I saw some newbies going to the infant school at the end of my road and they were so cute and tiny. Must be hard getting them to understand what’s going on.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5
