We should be able to enjoy our homesSun_Addict said:Love having a coffee in my garden too. So glad you’re enjoying your space now you’ve had the fence done. Fingers crossed that’s it with your course 🤞
Hope BIL is comfortable and happy to be back in his home.. It's all thanks to our new fences
.
BIL varies as he's having side effects from the radiotherapy and they're still trying to get his pain relief right for him, but he is very pleased to be at home. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

. My tutor is busy this Wednesday afternoon so I've suggested next Wednesday instead. It's frustrating as I wanted to get it over with but at least I've done the preparation.

Hi HHD
I'm playing catch up again with diaries but good to hear the fencing has been done and you're able to enjoy your garden more. Apologies if I've missed this but have you started applying for jobs yet or is there a chance you could be taken on at the school you work? Hope business is picking up for DH and everybody is keeping well. xx

If you are thinking of working elsewhere - now is the time to look for next year.. I haven't been applying for jobs yet. The trouble is I like it at this school and I've been doing TA cover since October (apart from April and May). A TA and a teacher have both advised me to hang on as they reckon a job may come up in the future and I don't really want to go to another school as I love it at this one.

I've had a busy couple of days. I've been at school all day for the last two days and it was really hot today🔥☀️. The children were all tired and disinclined to do anything in the afternoon and the teacher kept going off to meetings and leaving me in charge 😱. She was gone for forty minutes one time and I felt like it lasted forever 😳, but I got the children to finish their drawings and write three sentences about them, which was no mean feat 🙂. At lunchtime it was so hot they were too tired to run around and just wanted to lie down in the shade. I felt like joining them 🤣 .
Tomorrow I'm only in at lunchtime so I want to get a wash done and hung up to make the most of the hot weather as it's going to be even hotter tomorrow ☀️🌡. I told the children to bring hats and make sure their parents put sun cream on them so I hope they do.
DH hasn't taken any of the branch mountain to the tip yet so I feel as if I can't enjoy the garden properly 😡. If I could drive it would all be gone by now. If he hasn't done it by Saturday I'm going to try and insist we go on Saturday morning. DH wants to go in the week as he thinks it will be less busy then, but I don't want to wait forever to get rid of the garden waste as it's really bugging me and is probably attracting mice and insects.
It's no surprise about the new lockdown easing measures. I'm sure they've changed it to one metre just to get children back to school. I personally don't feel inclined to go to a pub or restaurant, or even a clothes shop at the moment, but I'm sure many people will. At least more NT places might open and that's somewhere I would go if they open their toilets too.
I hope everyone is having a good Tuesday 🙂.

It's very hot just at home, I'm not surprised looking after children makes you want to lie down !
I've had 'something', I know not what, but because I'm never I'll and it involved a slightly raised temperature, covid19 was a possibility. Got my test back today - negative but there is a 20% false negative variance, so DH doesn't believe it and I'm stuck upstairs for a few more days. Now I love my jigsaws and tablet, but even I'm going stir crazy!! I was even thinking of requesting a mop and bucket to do the bathroom floor to relieve boredom- if my DDs heard that, they'd be really worried !!!
And I thought staying at home was limiting, but just upstairs is a whole new level of imprisonment.5 -

Sorry you're trapped upstairs Elizabeth that can't be much fun, but hopefully it's not the dreaded virus. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
