Hi everybody 🙂.
Friday was a good day. I spent forty minutes talking about pokemon and fifteen minutes pretending to be a seagull 🤣. I can't believe I get paid for that 🤣. After school I nipped to the post office and posted the care package to my sister and a load of things for DS1. The queue was long so I hope I don't have to go again for a while! Then I nipped to Mr M as I'd forgotten a few items on Wednesday and there was an even longer queue 😩.
I felt tired when I got home so I showered off the germs, put some towels on to wash and then collapsed into an armchair.
Yesterday was finally a dry day (apart from overnight rain). DH and I had coffee in the garden first thing which was lovely and something we haven't done for years 🙂. Then we hacked away at the roots of the old hedge and got rid of a lot of visible ones. It will take ages to get rid of them completely but we'll keep whittling away at it. I also deadheaded a few flowers and put a new red geranium into a pot. After that we felt tired so we came indoors. I did a bit of washing and housework, then read my book.
This morning DH and I had coffee in the garden again 🙂. It felt very peaceful and private, we could hear the birds twittering away and admire our flowers. It's very useful for assessing what needs to be done in the garden.

I had to do some college work this morning 😞. My tutor sent me forty questions to have a telephone discussion about 😱 so I spent nearly two hours after breakfast preparing and making notes 😣. I've suggested Wednesday afternoon for the phone discussion. I'm hoping this is the last box to tick for my course now as I hate working at weekends 😬. Anyway it's done now and I feel well prepared 😇.
I had a video chat with stepdad for half an hour and messaged lots of family members. I've got a wash drying in the garden and another one in the machine. So I just need to iron some tee shirts for school and then I can relax until it's time to shower, cook and make my packed lunch for tomorrow. There's no rest for the wicked but hopefully next weekend will be less busy.
I hope everyone is having a good Sunday 🙂.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
