Morning HHOD, glad to hear OH eye is starting to feel a bit better, hopefully you will get your walk by the sea soon.
I was all geared up to be starting back in school on Monday, had myself mentally prepared and then received an email yesterday from Head teacher that it now won't be happening as local authority have advised strongly against it and if anything was to happen to child/staff it will fall on the heads of the governors and Head teacher, so back to just key worker children being allowed to go in and whether we open in a few weeks to more children or in September is a complete mystery.

Interesting indeed about the school Pennywise. We were talking about whether this might happen after so many of the scientific advisors are saying we’re moving too fast. My gdd is in year 1 and expecting to go back in a couple of weeks but has been told via e mail it probably won’t happen. My school are having staff in for 2 days from 8th then year 6 followed by year 1 the following week and reception the week after. Fingers crossed for an about turn from me.
HHof D I’m sorry to hear about your dh eye. It sounds sore. Hope the meds work for him.
You’ll get your walk by the seaside....the novelty might have worn off and hopefully it won’t be too crowded for you.January spends - £587.585 -

It would help me to know what exactly you and beanilou have found offensive. It sounds as if it has happened on several occasions. I could then explain why I said what I did. I am deeply upset myself now, knowing that people are feeling that I set out to offend.

Hi Hairy, I'm glad to see you managed to paint your bench, I still need to do my table and chairs but haven't felt up to it yet. I was hoping to have it done this weekend so I will just have to see how I feel. I am glad to hear your DHs eye appears to be improving too, hopefully you will get your stroll by the sea in the not too distant future
As for schools going back I'm starting to wonder if it's a good ides myself now that some top scientific advisers have broke ranks and advised against it, I know if my DD were still at school they wouldn't be going in now. I'm beginning to think that our government are not being entirely honest with us now and are thinking more about the economy than peoples lives. Unfortunately the only way to find out is to try it and see what happens 😟 the upside to the latest news is that maybe less children than expected will actually go back which will make your job a little easier 😊

Hope your dh is recovering well now he has had the meds a few days.It has been really hot and sunny here again - uncomfortably so. Hope you managed to get a sea breeze - I’d love to be by the sea 🌊🌊 dd has posted me piccys of my gks in the sea near to them. She said the main sea front and town were heaving but they venture a bit further along away from the day trippers.I agree with you Onebrokenlady on your last couple of posts. 👍👍January spends - £587.586
