Nothing worse than waiting for news. Hope it’s better than expected 🙏
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • Yesterday I worked from 10am until 4pm with half an hour for lunch on my assignment. I finished it and uploaded it 🙂. So six assignments done and three to go 🙂. Then I did twenty minutes of my aerobics dvd 🤸‍♀️ and ten minutes of my yoga dvd 🧘‍♀️ to unwind.

I didn't have time for anything else really, but it felt like a day well spent as I was working on my career and looking after my physical health.
Definitely time very well spent.  You have my admiration for being able to concentrate on your assignment when your head must be all over the place worrying about your BIL and sister.  When is your course due to end, or is it a case of whenever you get the assignments finished and marked?  Will you have to attend any more lectures or seminars once life returns to normal?

    Thanks SA.

Thanks Delichon. It helps to have a distraction.

I think the course officially ends at the end of June. The last tutorial should have been the end of April and then there's a couple of months to complete assignments and do observations, etc, if not already done. The tutorials are cancelled because of the virus of course, so my tutor is emailing the assignments and notes to the students. I've got three more assignments to do, a couple more telephone discussions (which she records for the record), a few other bits of work for me to do (like fill in a risk assessment) and a second observation. Luckily she did my first observation last autumn term. But as schools may not open fully before next autumn she may have to base the second observation on my Level Two one, in conjunction with a telephone discussion.

  • Throwing it down here and as dark as the middle of winter !

Could you please remind me what your qualification will be ? (I know you've said before).
You will certainly have earned it with all the hard work you've put in.

Thank you Elizabeth :). My qualification will be an NVQ Level 3 Diploma, which will be the equivalent of an A'Level. I've already got an NVQ Level 2 Certificate, which is the equivalent of GSCE.

I already have three A'Levels and a history degree but these are my first vocational qualifications :).

I'm thinking of you today Hairy while you are waiting for news, the waiting is awful 😟
It's been chucking it down here today, I was supposed to go to mum and dads to drop some bits off but I text them earlier and said I will do it on Saturday when it hopefully won't be raining and since then the sun has come out,I bumped into a neighbour while I was out with B earlier and she said it's meant to be raining again this afternoon, I got caught in a shower when I took B out but typically when I got home it stopped again 🙄
    Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,894

Thank you OBL. It is horrible waiting for news.

Our weather is bonkers today too. It's been a mixture of showers and sunny spells since I got soaked in the hail shower in the park 🙄.
