I really think it must depend on your GP on how bad you are. A friend has had the letter but only this week as she has asthma but didn't class herself as severe. My dad hasn't had a letter and he is 78 has COPD, is diabetic and has heart disease!!! Thankfully he is staying home and letting me do his shopping for him.
Still love dreading your diary Hairy and it is lovely to hear how positive you are at the moment xx5 -
I had assumed the health problems that would elicit a letter would be consistent over the country - obviously not.
I love your new idea for fitness, HH, mainly because it sounds fun rather than yet another chore. Any exercise you enjoy is much more likely to become a habit because you're motivated to do it.
My daily half-hour static bike ride is done to Classic FM, and today featured the William Tell Overture, 2 of the 4 bits being perfect for taking you away on a wave of excitement !!
Part 4 was the Lone Ranger theme tune, which I still remember vividly.7 -
When you look at the Gov.uk guidance the extra vulnerable are those having chemo, any sort of treatment for blood cancer, lung transplants, cystic fibrosis, etc. One of my friends is having immunotherapy for melanoma and she had a letter. There was a young woman on the news concerned that her motor neurone disease wasn't listed. Hopefully things will start to improve in the coming weeks and we can begin slowly getting back to normality.
Have a good weekend xx

Such a mess about these letters! Is due to postcode lottery?☹️Good to hear about your new fitness regime Hairy. 😀. You've given me the impetus to dust off my Barbara Currie yoga DVD which has been languishing for who knows how long in the DVD drawer. She does some nice 10 minute stretches which I badly need - I'm getting my aerobic daily fix with my walks but I've been tardy with body exercises. I've never been the most flexible person and at my age I need to address this. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Thanks everyone 🙂. I like Rosmary Conley and Barbara Currie as they go at a fairly gently pace which suits someone in their fifties and my dvds both have ten minute workouts that are very flexible 🤸♀️🧘♀️. Do you have the Seven Secrets dvd @Seasidegal58 ? I have that one and it's the one I use the most.
I'm going to do my exercise dvds on days when I don't go for a walk as I don't think I'm fit enough to do both in one day. I haven't done them at the weekend as I don't like doing them in front of DH. Next week I'm back at school and I'll walk there and back so I'll get plenty of exercise doing that and while I'm there. Although I could have a go at doing the yoga one so I improve my flexiblility 🤔.
Yesterday was cloudy all day but not cold. I pruned a bush in our garden that actually looks like a small tree, pruned our clematis a bit and pruned the roots of our hedge which was trying to sprout again 🌳🌿. By the time I'd swept it all up I was quite tired. The garden is looking much neater now and one day when we can afford fences along the top of the walls we can get rid of the broken trellis and have more privacy. The noisy neighbours have an aggressive English bull terrier and I'm scared it will jump over the wall and attack me 😒 so that's an additional reason to want a fence there. Apart from the gardening I also hoovered the living room and hall yesterday, and emptied all the bins 😇.
Yesterday evening we did a Z00m family party as two of them had birthdays on the same day 🎂. We had a quiz, sang happy birthday and all blew out candles on cakes. My dad organised it and I really enjoyed seeing that half of my family 🙂. I'll be glad when I can see them in real life. I'm really missing seeing family in real life 😥.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Today it feels warmer and it's sunnier ☀️. I've put some towels on to wash and also weeded the front garden and swept all the paved bits, which took a suprisingly long term considering we have a tiny front garden 🌿. When my back has recovered I want to clean the sink in the bathroom, clean the windowsills in the living room and put a few things in the void that are lying around in my bedroom.
I'm not sure what else I want to do today so I'll see how I feel. I may just relax after finishing my jobs as I want to be fresh for school tomorrow.
I hope everyone is having a good Sunday 🙂.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
