    Glad your day went well.:T Shame you can't have the weekend to fully get over what you've both had, but life's like that isn't it - always something needs doing. Hope you have a good journey. I think it's a good idea to keep your options open and take an overnight bag with you. xx

    Great to hear your day went well, a pity you can't follow a day's work with a restful w/e, but that's not how life goes is it ?

    We also used to have a toaster that somersaulted the bread out - it was a trick to catch it after the first rotation before its dive to the floor !

    As for needing to nag DS to get his stuff organised so you can get an early start today, you shouldn't need to:eek:. I hope he realises that you, and DH in particular, are doing him a massive favour this weekend in the circumstances, given recent health issues and other things. He's a very lucky young man today and I hope he appreciates it.

    As others have said it's a shame you can't take this weekend to fully recover but at least you have the option of staying overnight if it gets too much. Pleased to hear you're both feeling better.
