  • Thanks Nicnak :). I have worked hard on this assignment but it's covering two big topics, health and safety in schools and child development. It should be two separate assignments really.

I agree, HHOD. It does sound as if it should be 2 assignments not just the one:eek:.

You're very conscientious and I know you'll get yours done:A but I expect some on the course will be struggling to submit in time, what with all the nasty lurgies that people everywhere seem to have been catching, plus the hectic run up to Christmas with all that involves time-wise. Well done for how much you've achieved so far:beer:

Wishing you a great day. The sun is struggling to appear here today (it's been so long since I saw it I've almost forgotten what it looks like:rotfl:) and for the first morning in ages I haven't had to scrape the car windscreens before going out first thing:j. I hope the sun shines on you and your little charges this lunchtime:beer:

I've had a busy but successful day today :D.

First of all my tutor visited me at school this morning to do my first observation for the level three course . It seemed to go well and my teacher said some really nice things about me to my tutor including that if the school had the budget they would employ me :D. So it's good to get that out of the way as it's always a bit stressful being observed and I had an anxiety dream about it last night :o.

Lunchtime went well and was dry. Then when I got home I finished my assignment and emailed it to my tutor :T. It was 11,077 words in the end, which doesn't include a two page bibliography .

I'm so pleased to get observation out of the way and my assignment finished that I feel a bit shell shocked now with tiredness and relief. Tomorrow will be a walk in the park compared to today :rotfl:.

However I won't relax for too long as next week I need to start on my third assignment which is on Safeguarding. My plan is to finish it in the two weeks before I break up as which should be doable as I have more free time now I'm not doing the cover and then I'll have the Christmas holiday to do my fourth assignment. That way I'll feel like I'm really making some headway with this new course.

The house is a complete tip but I don't care because my priority is work, volunteering and my course. I can clean up the house in the holidays.

Our weather was weird today as there was a sort of pink mist first thing, but it brightened up later so that the children (and us) could have fun in the playground.

I hope everyone has had a good Thursday :).

Well done with your observation- bet it was encouraging to hear the teachers words - especially employing you if they had the money. Who knows - maybe the fairytales all the politicians are throwing around about more cash for schools might just happen and they can employ you....but I’ll believe it when I see it.

I’m desperately trying to get sorted in case I go back to work on Wednesday. We break up on 20th but dh will be at home and I find it tricky doing things with him around - he distracts me :rotfl: then we’re heading to dds...so I need to shape myself or I’ll be on the night shifts:eek:
