I'm sure you'll have that assignment done and dusted in no time now you've set your mind to it.
Really hope the roof leak gets sorted out for DS - there are certain things you can turn a blind eye to in a rented house but water dripping onto your bed isn't one of them!
Are you sticking with the veggie intake for now re. your energy levels or did you make an appointment to see the Dr? Apologies if I've missed you saying, I'm playing catch up. xx0 -

Thanks TF2. I will be glad to see the back of this assignment as I seem to have taken a while to get going with it.
I also hope the dripping water is sorted out for poor DS3.
I want to try and ring the doctor tomorrow. I want to talk about my energy levels but I also want to mention that I think I may be developing arthritis in my hands.

Hope you get your assignment finished and then you can enjoy half term.
I’m pleased you’re going to the doctors- there might be a simple explanation such as iron deficiency and you’ll feel much better when it’s sorted.January spends - £587.580 -

You seem to have 'broken the back' of the assignment, even whilst recovering - you'll be really glad to have got so much done.
I have arthritis in my hands and can't make fists, but I think if I'd done more stretching exercises with them whilst the arthritis was still 'young', it might be better now. So if you're right, and exercises are suggested, Do do them !
As an aside, I have been doing my hip exercises religiously and although I have crappy knees (!!), my hip, after less than 12 weeks, is all better.:j0 -

Thanks Milann. I will be able to enjoy half term more once the assignment is done.

Thanks Elizabeth. The suspected arthritis is in my right hand. I can't straighten one finger and can't bend another one properly,, plus they feel a bit painful all the time. My Mum had bad arthritis in her hands. Do you have trouble writing with a pen? I find writing is painful for my fingers and it's easier to type.
I'm sure Pilates is helping my knees and hips although they feel fine at the moment.
How is your hip after your operation? It sounds like it's much improved. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

This morning I want to finish my assignment and then this afternoon I need to clean and tidy the house because stepdad, fiancee and another relative are coming for a meal tonight.
So another busy day, but hopefully after today I can relax a bit more. At least the house will be clean anyway. It feels cold and dark in the mornings lately.
I hope everyone has a happy and productive day.

Well a complete change of plans today! I remembered to ring the doctor and they had an appointment this morning! I was so shocked that I said yes :rotfl:. Then as I was getting ready to go out stepdad messaged and cancelled coming tonight for a meal as he has a bad cold.
At the surgery I mentioned my sore fingers and the doctor said he thinks it's an inherited type of nodular rheumatoid arthritis as my Mum had arthritis in her hands. There's nothing that can be done about it apart from pain killers but I should try squeezing a soft ball to exercise my fingers. He's going to refer me to the podiatrist though as I have a bunion which is caused by the arthritis.
Then I mentioned feeling tired all the time so the doctor said I should book an appointment for blood tests and then speak to him on the phone once I get the results. When I was talking about my tiredness I got a bit upset and ended up telling him about my Mum and other problems, so he's going to refer me for therapy too.
So a successful session at the doctor I thought! The only thing I didn't get time to mention was my blocked ear but I'll go to the drop in clinic when my cold is completely better. The doctor was really nice and actually listened to me.
Afterwards DH suggested going to Mr T to do our main food shop (first mistake), so we picked up DS1 (second mistake), we went in the coffee shop (third mistake) and spent £10.55 there . I just had coffee but DH had coffee and cake and DS1 had cake. So after an expensive start to the shopping trip we compounded the error by spending £125 on food :eek::mad::mad:. This is what happens when I go food shopping with DH and DS1 . DH wanted a sharp knife £3, tea towels for wrapping bread when it's warm £2, plastic bags for putting bread in once it's cooled £2 and printer paper £2.75.
Don't ask me what else we spent £125 on though . We just bought a lot of everything and food is expensive. We didn't buy anything extravagant, just stocked up on rice, cous cous, baked beans, toilet roll, etc. We bought a lot of frozen food which is expensive, so maybe that's the main problem. Anyway next week's food shop had better be cheap is all I can say. We are well stocked up with food so it should last longer than a week.
So instead of doing my assignment and then getting ready for dinner guests, it's been doctor and food shop. I can't face starting my assignment now, so I'll finish it in the morning and then do housework/gardening in the afternoon. At least I won't spend money if I stay at home all day! Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

I've been looking at a website the doctor recommended and apparantly rheumatoid arthritis can cause fatigue, weight loss and anaemia! Anyway hopefully the blood tests will be informative. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
