You have been a busy bee. Hope the ds get on board with decluttering and do their rooms a few minutes at a time. It will take time but will be worth it - you’re doing a grand job.
My dh drives me mad - he is actually appears more tidy than me - but just piles things up and is so reluctant to get rid of anything. Then I have to go and file a lot of it under b for bin. I sorted everywhere before we went away but the cases are just dumped in the kitchen atm.....I’ve lost my motivation. Must get my mojo back ;)

Hi HHD :) Sounds like a lovely day at the NT place. I'm always pleasantly surprised when DS decides to join us when we go out so I know how much it means.

Are you back at school on the same day as the children or will you be going in a day or two before to help out?

It's been lovely weather for getting the garden done, although a bit on the hot side possibly.

Have a lovely relaxing evening. xx

Yet another productive few days, doesn't it feel good when you get jobs ticked off the list. My progress is slow because I don't get any help and I work full time but I chip away at it.

Glad the boys are back and enjoyed their trip. I love it how they go travelling together :)

Also glad you enjoyed your NT day out :)
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

Thanks Milann :). I hope your de-cluttering mojo returns soon :).

Thanks TF2 :). I have a day of training on Monday and then start properly on Wednesday (I think).

Thanks SA :). Chipping away is a good way to make progress with things. It is sweet that the DSs like holidaying together :).

  • I've had a busy couple of days so haven't had time to post. On Wednesday I went to my Mum and stepdad's house to help them sort my Mum's things. The next day I spent looking through 32 photo albums I'd brought home and deciding which photos to keep. That two days felt quite emotional and sad. :(.

Today the weather was good so we decided to go for a last day trip of the holidays. DH, DS1 and I went to a seaside town in Cornwall and had a really lovely day with warm sunny weather :).

I hope everyone has had a good week so far and is looking forward to the weekend starting :).
