  • Regrettably not pain-free, still have facet joint pain and wound pain radiating all down my right leg, BUT, and it's a really big BUT, it's better than it was before the op.

I still think you did a lot for a really hot day, today, HH! After a walk up & down the back of the house I also retreated indoors for a cold drink.

I needed some new kitchen scissors last Xmas, and the Poundland ones DD1 gave me are actually really efficient.

Will the pain get better as the wound heals Elizabeth? I'm glad it's better than it was anyway :).

Thanks DIA :). Our pictures are all covered in dust which ruins them .

    Happy Saturday eveyone :).

DH and I dropped the three office chairs at the tip this morning. Then I went into town and dropped the suede jacket, carp CDs and two too big shirts of DS2's at the charity shop.

Then I discovered I had been paid :j so I bought some leggings to wear with a summer dress and two winter skirts :o. Although I did get 15% off the skirts. I don't have any good winter skirts and these fitted beautifully and will go with all my tops. And I needed the leggings because I haven't been able to wear my summer dress. Excuses, excuses. Clothes are my nemesis :o.

It feels too hot for gardening so this afternoon I had another go at the milk stain on the carpet as I missed a bit. Hopefully that will get rid of it now :T. Then I went up to clean the bathroom sink and ended up washing down all the walls and dusting the bookcase in there. It does look a lot better now :T.

When it's a bit cooler I'd like to put my last two remaining flowers in pots and then water everything. I'd also like to do more dusting and hoovering. Plus I need to do some ironing. But I'm running out of day, so some of that stuff will have to roll over to tomorrow. I wish I could split myself in two and get twice as much done .

I have varicose veins Beanie so it's the only way I can wear a summer dress and feel okay.

Thanks SSG :). Most the clutter was stuffed in the four voids in cardboard boxes and bin liners, the voids were full and I had absolutely no idea what was in there . The rest of it was lying around the house making it look cluttered and messy and making cleaning very difficult .

The house does look a lot better now and is getting easier to clean. Although I feel like I haven't finished yet. I've picked the low hanging fruit, but the rest of the clutter is going to be harder to tackle, like the office full of paperwork  and DS1's room :eek:.

I think leggings look okay with a dress though, lots of people wear them that way :).
