    Thanks both of you :). Normally I pay for myself when I visit but I think stepmum was feeling sorry for me because it's been a difficult year.

  • We had a lovely day at a NT place yesterday :) Ascott House. Lovely paintings and chinese ceramics in the house and beautiful gardens. We were lucky with the weather and had sunshine mostly. Money wise I just paid for two coffees for myself so about £6.

    Today it's raining heavily :( but we're meeting a relative for lunch. Not sure what we'll do after that. This evening I'm meeting up with an old school friend.
