Hi Hairy,I've just caught up with your diary as I've been awol for a bit, I think you coped with your mums anniversary really well as the first year is always the most difficult ,you are bound to feel a bit emotionally rung out and clingy to your family as that's where you feel secure,I also think your are dealing with your stepdad moving on in the best way possible, I would struggle with the situation but would like to hope I would be able to deal with it in the same way

Also well done on completing your course and good luck for the next stage ,how things have changed for you since your diary began,it's amazing

I hope you have a lovely time with your sister in Scotland, you are very brave flying by yourself, I panic just getting a train to the next town 😂

Unfortunately men aren’t as good as being on their own as we are. Having said that a friend of mine found a new man not that long after her hubby passed away. I guess we’re all different. I can understand how you feel. What Greenbee says is spot on.

Enjoy your time with your sister :)

  • I'm in Scotland :T. I was really stressed about the journey. I made a sandwich and threw it away at the airport because I was too stressed to eat it . But it all went smoothly and once I got on the plane I finally relaxed :).

It's lovely to be here with my sister, the weather is hot and sunny and we've been for two nice scenic walks already. We picked Chantarelle mushrooms in the woods on one walk to eat in a risotto :).
