How much would it be covered for?0

Yes dead horse. But what did this mean?
Well you would likely find even if it was covered.
A £350 item wouldnt be covered by a £250 service.
Surely if an item (let's pretend it's not a phone for a sec) is worth more than £350 and you have bought insurance that covers up to £250,surely you get the full £250.0 -
No, it doesn't work like that.0
-
Could you describe how it does work?0
-
Can't be. I am always asked the value and in many cases I have been offered the £250 insurance for items worth well over this amount. I also see nothing to that effect on their website. It also doesn't sound correct - if they lose something I bought for £251, I'm not covered? That really doesn't sound right.0
-
Well it was your statement I am questioning.... With respect, It makes no sense at all.0

Royal Mail will give compensation UP TO the insured value, allowing for you abiding by their T&C.

Tjeonlywayisup, Please explain?0

Yes so as I see it that statement was wrong, one gets up to £250 of the market value of any bite lost, regardless of whether it is worth more than £2500
