That's a bit kind of you.... The OP is suggesting possible fraud, do you guys have forum guidelines which cover that?
I wouldn't give them the option tbh, either remove it yourself if a rule was broken or leave it up for everyone to see.
OP also has the option of "editing" the post, as you mentioned.0 -

I think OP realised the error of their ways pretty swiftly tbh. Plus this thread afterwards might be helpful for someone in a similar scenario.
OP - the problem you have here is that the policy states it doesn't cover phones. Lets say you go to the post office tomorrow and say "Excuse me you told me this would cover phone and it doesn't" and the person behind the counter says "No I didn't, I asked you how much the package was, you told me and so I asked if you would like to insure it". How are you going to prove that you told her it was a phone?0 -
Yes I've realised the errors if my ways, I apologise. I'll just take a hit on this one.0

I think it's a rule for the people working in the post offices to ask what is in the parcel.‘It ain’t over 'til it's over’0
-
Exactly! I told her.0

I also think the PO always ask whats inside the package, if you told them a phone then they shouldnt have sold you the insurance.
I would put a claim in for the refund of the insurance, not that it helps with getting anything like £250 back0 -
That was £3!0

No I would never have sent my £350 phone without insurance! I sent it in good faith, thinking worst case scenario would give me £250 back. Seemigly I get nothing back now...0
