Sorry to hear about moggy's cut nose despite your best efforts, kaz.
Yes, bossy, you can freeze chutney. Personally I would do it in small amounts (though my freezer is too full to freeze anything new atm) so that I could refill the open jar as it is emptied.

Oh dear, another day written off. I think that I was at my most productive between 6.30am and 7am, which is really saying something.

Wet towel washing hanging up indoors and DW is running. I went to a friend's allotment after work to pick her veg, and found the Courgette That Got Away:eek: Also picked some lovely raspberries which we have had for pudding this evening. I still haven't got round to making the runner bean chutney yet, although the ingredients are cluttering up the kitchen side. More beans are queuing up...

Not a lot of flying, as you can see. I'm currently sitting on the sofa wearing fluffy socks and feeling a teensy bit sorry for myself as I'm mulling over something that somebody said earlier today. Not wearing only fluffy socks, you understand... :D

Well DD2 is away to Stoke.. if you have a son under 30 there.. I'm sorry.. no she does NOT get it from me!!!

my front room is still full of her sh-poop... I have so much to ebay.. DD3 has sorted her wardrobe for DD2's cast offs to go in.. so it is the 8-12ladies/14+ child size stuff that needs to be sold.. I am drowning in stuff.. I need either a storage unit to get in and sort it or a professional declutterer to come help me do this.

    - I swear I did the list beofre I read your post - my freezer is rammed.

I have a quote for new boiler at less than BG - but not that much less. I am wondering whether to splurge on HIVE app.

    Anyone on HIVE?

I have now witnessed Poppy-the-kitten attacking DS's GF. I thought she was kidding...

That reminds me - last time I took my car in for a service, they were supposed to be ordering a replacement clip to hold the air filter in place (the other had gone missing!?!?!) and I've never heard any more about it. Another phonecall to add to my list.

I have cleared some more papers from the study-bedroom and given the dog the attention she craves.

SW this morning: cream teas have definitely had an effect on my waistline :eek::eek::eek::eek:

It's very misty and damp here today, but the sun is trying to break through. Hoping to do some tidying in the garden at some point in the day, and I've got some new plants to put in - however, I also need winter pansies for the tubs, so we might go for free coffee at our local GC this afternoon so that I can use up some plant and bulb vouchers.

We also need more food, especially fruit, which never lasts long in this house.

Must take Rosie for a quick run down the lane - but I'd better get dressed first!
  • Glad it's kitchen today as mine needs a good sorting, it's the room we use the most.

Yesterday I progressed, cleared everything off a nice piece of furniture on the landing and gave it a polish, looks lovely now (had been hiding under piles of clothes/bedding for months). Junk also cleared up from the floor so quite pleased with myself. 2 loads of washing done dried, ironed and put away.

Better get a move on in the kitchen as working this afternoon.

Have ironed (on cheap rate leccy) while boiling numerous kettlefuls of water to wash what cannot go in the DW.
    Also have washing out.
Man coming to look at boiler, to quote, later. That's why I need a clean kitchen!
