Well done. Now, be strong and ignore any more communication. Go out for a walk, anything, just make yourself unavailable.0 -
He’s thick. I mean, if you cannot afford make monthly payments or whatever by committing to your car, then don’t buy one haha. Simple reallyThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Aaron, may I ask you a question? Who is your PIP paid to? Is it paid into your bank account or is it paid into your mother's account?0

Hi
My mother is currently my appointee and therefore PIP is paid in to her Post Office Bank Account, and then she hands the money straight over to me.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Did you establish if she is claiming Carers Allowance for you?
Saying no to your brother today is a positive step. Have you taken any advice on the situation with your mother?0 -
Its never a good idea because if they KNOW there is someone to pay the bill, people are too quick to default. "Oh well, so and so will pay it" will probably be on his mind in case he ever gets into financial difficulties! You did the right thing. If you couldn't afford it for yourself, don't finance it for someone else.0
