back from holiday and final Oct shop done. Came back like a wee barrel so is all veg and fruit!
Calling it at £148.582021 GC £1365.71/ £24000 -
We spent 66,28!€ yesterday which is slightly over budget but still okay since a) we're under our monthly budget and b) we won't go shopping next week
Will update my sig ASAP and then declare how much we spent in October
Edit: Declaring 181,14 € / 200 € for Octoberweight loss journey: 3 KG / 8 KG
declutter challenge: 25 / 25 ✅ 66/100
english is not my first language, sorry for any misspellings0 -
I only need bread and some veggies so I'm planning on spending less than a £10 and will declare on Sunday when I get back.
£10.33 spent and a fair number of decent reductions - not a bad haul I think:
3 kilo of cooking bacon, 250g salmon, broccoli, cauliflower, carrot, bag of pea shoots, two bags of couscous salad, two cartons of pea and ham soup, raspberries, baby corn, baby tomatoes and bread
Couscous and soup will make lunch at work this week. Cooking bacon has been split and is in the freezer. Salmon will do dinner tomorrow and the salad bits will be used to increase my veg intake as sides until they run out.
Final declaration for October - £126.33 on food/drink + £55 for 'Social' stuff = £181.33 in total
November starts tomorrow :beer:That sounds like a classic case of premature extrapolation.

I assume there isn't a lidl near you?
Our lidl has kilo packs for £1.09 and - while it's a bit hit and miss - they're more like really lean gammon. That sounds like a classic case of premature extrapolation.

I'm going to declare as I know that I'm not going to be (food) shopping until Wednesday. My total for October is £45.45/£80 - £34.55 under, which will be added to my bulk buy fund.0

Hi all,
I've done my last shop of the month today. Due to a miss calculation, I am 65p over budget grrrrrrrrrrr. Yes, it's official, I can't do Stage 1 maths! I don't need to go shopping again in October so I declare £100.65.
Bring on November.

Laundry 'stuff' in £world = £6.00
Not declaring yet as I don't want to jinx myself but I am still just under budget so fingers xd nothing else to spend until next month.

declaring £151.56 of my £170 budget, I am really quite pleased with this cos I thought i'd be way over.
I upped my target cos I meant to make relish, chutney etc for my family for crimble gifts but in the end only did two cos new medications have left me very tired and lethargic.
I would've saved £7.15 but I timed it right to pop into lidl as they were reducing meat, so bought a few bits. is good tho cos with what I've already got in the freezer the chances are the only meat i'll need to buy next month will be a joint for a sunday roast0 -
Declaring at £357/£200. Sigh. No guests expected in November so hoping it will be a much better month!!
Thanks for all the encouragement this month; see you in November0 -
Afternoon all
