Happy Wedding Day vibes to Mrs MP. Oh I do hope you don't live anywhere near me -nothing personal, it's just tipping down here!
LW - I live life quite convinced that anyone who seems to like me will one day 'realise what I truly am' and run a mile. I too over-analyse conversations - which sends my anxiety through the roof with the 'should have' s and 'ought to' s - and so I too avoid a lot of social situations. Perhaps we were separated at birth? (As a child I was convinced I'd been taken home from the hospital by the wrong parents!) But dogs like me :T - even when their owners don't (just thinking of one lovely dog, Bobby, who, many years ago, insisted on sitting on my feet under my desk to the annoyance of my colleague, his owner, who hadn't spoken to me for months :rotfl: ). Virtual hugs heading your way.
I'd better look sharp - I'm expecting a phone call in ten minutes to give me a psychological screening  (I don't like phone calls much either).
I'll declutter the call; then I'll hopefully have the wherewithal to get dressed and do the dailies. Going to have to pace myself as I didn't sleep well - at 2 am I was trying to calculate how many hours at minimum wage I would need to work each week to be able to pay the bills: phased return to current job obviously going well then

Happy wedding day to the moneypennies xx
Happy kitchen filling day dizzy xx
Tipping down here too. So much so that school opened early so they could all trot in as they arrived. I had a hunch DD would have cold hands - she always does in the rain - and have no idea where her gloves are - but found my fingerless ones, she wore them lol.
Need to pop out again this morning, then my list is waiting for me when I get back, shouldn't take an hour. But I've stuck a wash in, so just waiting for that to finish. It will have to dry indoors. Might get the dehumidifier going with a rack in the conservatory...
Other jobs today include sorting the boot of the car - it's empty but needs football supplies eg camping chair, big brolly, hats and gloves, extra layer of clothing for DD. Actually, someone gave us a puddle jumping suit age 9-10 which I might slot in too. And I've just found bigger wellies for her.
It's that kind of weather that has me wondering what coats still fit them. Nothing else does!!!
Hope your days are less sogg than mineBossymoo

Rubbish day today. Plans started going awry about, oh let's say 8.30am to be generous. LW, amongst all you other fabulousness, could you sort out Loki for us?
On the good side, Mia the Staffie is here for the weekend; she's pee'd on the front lawn, poo'd on the back lawn, and is very vocal (not barky, little "chatty" whine noises, it's quite funny). And she's had a biscuit - when she came for her initial meet'n'greet visit, Mr LW and I were both asked to hand her a biscuit; only after she'd accepted them from us both were we told that she will only take a biscuit from people she likes. :rotfl:
Soggy walkies later, methinks. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
LW.. I do that too.. and I think most of us don't simply like you.. we luffs you because you are super special.
^ ^ ^ Wot she and all the rest said, but the pressure's off for a Flymeet if you'd prefer just be virtual friends. I'm happy with that if you are.
*Good weather vibes* for Mrs MP's DD's wedding day. Sending very happy wedding thoughts, too. It's tipping it down here and will do for the rest of the day but it's forecast to be dry this evening when we're at an outdoor screening of La La Land. I'm happy to have the rain here if it means you don't get it Mrs MP.I have had a massive fail today!!
No such thing, LauraDora! We're all just doing our best, and that's as good as it can get.
New kitchen Dizzy! How exciting! Lots of new stuff, obviously, otherwise it would look tatty and that really wouldn't do after you've waited so long for it.
Spent two hours tidying last night and another hour this morning, so the house defo looks a lot better. I'm determined to tackle the shower room and two letting rooms today to get them off my listy so that I can stop feeling froggy about them.Better is good enough.0 -
Hope wedding goes well Mrs MP
Hugs to anyone who needs them.
Rain here this morning and chilly but the sun is trying to visit so may get dog walk in the dry.
Haven't read back yet but hope all are well. Just having coffee and will then vacuum through downstairs ready for weekend.
Hugs

11 new job applications filled in.. it is a total waste of time.. his CV makes him look like the most boring person in the world.. he won't let me re-write it.. he sees himself as so much less than he is!
4 items listed for sale.. 3 are new.. my children grow too quickly! The other needed ironing after it was worn once... *shameless*
it keeps piddling here too.. I might have to get the dryer on as my kitchen is turning into a launderette again! .. I just want a couple of days of decent weather and some time without Twinkle glued to my leg! and a rocket shoved up my jacksie!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Ok.. you may praise me...
I have hung out the washing.. TADA!!!!!!!!!
Next 2 loads are in but not quite full so can wait for uniforms tonight.
Pixie has been chucked in for swimming lessons too.. so we have 3 of them there at 1pm tomorrow so we are making a family outing of it and all going rather than OH going alone and struggling to get everyone dried and dressed. So I need to sort 3 dance bags, 3 swimming bags, 2 ice skating bags and am thankful the 3 PE bags are already done.
Twinkle doesn't let me do a thing and I broke my favourite Muppet mugwhich spilled tea everywhere so half the kitchen had to be mopped.

Productive day here. Uniform darks have just gone in the wm. earlier wash is drying in conservatory, dinner made, eaten and cleaned up after, downstairs loo and sink washed, shoe and bag rack sorted and swept under, desk cleared, sofas cleaned and floors wiped in wc, hall and kitchen. Oh also dusted the tv and moved the wii into LR. Kids playing on it now and I'm going to do some yoga later on the wii fit board...
Other than that I've made soup, prepped some veg for tomorrow and sorted out school bags and lunch boxes. Have even copied down the relevant dates from the school calendar into my diary :T
I'm shattered now, lol. But I may tidy my wardrobe tonightBossymoo
